Besides the excellence of the hotel itself the staff went above and beyond to try and assist me with my lost luggage.Comment of L. Mindy , United States the 2014-06-15
This hotel is ideal for exploring Christmas Markets in Munich,Tollwood the main market is literally 5 minutes walk from the Hotel , the hotel is also a short walk from the Schnellbahn (underground station Theresienweisse) which is just a couple of stops from the Christmas markets of Marienplatz and Karlsplatz . The hotel itself is very well maintained ,bedrooms are well appointed and are clean as are the bathrooms. On arrival we were warmly greeted by the Reception Staff who were very helpful and informative this continued throughout our 3 day stay.. both Sekina and Ionna were particularly friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
"Very good place to stay!"
The location is not too far from the train station and the city center, it is right on the corner to the place where Octoberfest is located. In the area there are plenty of places to eat (duners, fast foods, small cosy restaurants, supermarkets and etc.). There is a free sauna in the hotel which is a very good option for customers after a long day trip in the cold weather. My room wasn`t what I payed for and there was a very bad sound from the water going down in the pipes but the substitute manager Sekina Ouro was an amazing performance and offer to us a great Premium room to compensate us for the bad feeling about our 1st of 5 nights. So after this inconvenience everything came to the right. I had no breakfast so can`t say a word for the restaurant but we ate at Lenz on the new year`s Eve and it was fabulous experience (it was recommendated from the Chef of hotel`s restaurant) I highly recommend Lenz restaurant to all guests (Salmon and Wien Schnitzel was really high level!). Overall the hotel and the services was really good ones! I recommend to all travelers to stay there! PS: I read some comments about the WiFi so here is some info about it: When you go to your room you have 100MB free wifi per 24 hours for 1 device. But if you fill the form for Melia awards you will be granted with no limit WiFi connection immediately. So don`t look no further and if all I said is enough for you, book your stay at this lovely hotel!
"Do not go to this hotel!!!"
This hotel should be a 4 star hotel, but it is a modest 2 star. In addition to this, in the reservation the wifi is free, but actually it is only free for the first 100mg, then you have to pay 5 euros a day! A real shame!! DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!
"Excellent stay, good value for money"
We stayed here for three nights while visiting the Christmas markets. Apart from a tiny mix up on check in where we were sent to a room which was already occupied (fortunately only by luggage!), we had a lovely stay. The room was well-equipped (although I did miss proper tea making facilities (but this doesn't seem to be uncommon in Germany)) and clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly, including the bar man and we had a good time. The staff were very happy to look after our luggage on check out so that we could enjoy our last day in the city. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Munich - which we will, we loved the city.
"Average stay quality. "
Average stay quality. Close to central station ( 5/7 min walk ) Tea coffee provided in room but dont stock up. Wifi only 100 mb available for one device per room. The guy at the bar is friendly otherwise hotel staff is a bit rude. No one answers when you ring room service so we had to go down to ask for everything.
