"The Hotel in Downtown "
I spent the night in this hotel for 1 night. Coz the hotel is quite close to the Center which is the agent to Apply for Schengen visa from Switzerland and France. As the matter of fact that I live outside Bangkok if I have to drive around this area in rush hour it is very difficult to reach the center just in time coz the traffic is very jam. So I decided to stay at this hotel. The room is quite comfortable with the small kitchen and dining table also very privately nice balcony. And the parking lots are plenty with the security 24 hours a day. The only thing that is the downside of this property is there are some small cockroachs climbing from the water sewage but as long as u didn't eat or cook anything in the room, it is ok, compared to the price and the convenience you get to reach the business district. It is still fine. But it will be better off it the hotel will manage to get rid of all cockroaches.
"Getting haggard "
I have stayed here many times but in thr last few years it's been rapidly going shorn Hill. This will be my last stay. No room test or coffee unless you request it. No towels at the pool as fresh ones for until 1230! Furniture old and stained and plenty of cockroaches. For the the plus side great location, good food and cheapish unless you book Thigh end room in which case you'd better go to Marriott Vista.
"Good location but staff need to be more trained"
I am a regular guest there everytime i go to bangkok, i chose to stay at the urbana because of the location and room is very spacious and privacy. This time also i chose urbana for my stay from October 31 to November 2 At first i checked in to one bedroom suite room 1204 at the price of 2000 per night which was very great price, the bell staff, filipinos he was absolutely great , he knews how to welcome the guest, then i decided to move to the 2 bedroom suite due to my friend will come to join with me for a night with an extra upgrade cost. But on the next day, i asked to move to the one bedroom suite due to i dont want to pay extra for the bigger room after myfriend left. So, the staff at reception told me yes it available only at 2200 baht per night the room at cost 2,000 per night are all occupied , then she move me to the same room before. 1204 which was i used to pay 2000 for yesterday. I came her nicely this is the same room i stayed yesterday and why you said that it not available and charge 2200 The money is not the object here but she didnt give any clear answer and look a bit arrogant To be hornest most of the reception they need to have more training course about the hospitality really, very didaapointing this time
"Urbana Sathorn - Avoid This Place"
Urbana Sathorn is not a nice place to stay. The rooms are noisy especially from a soccer court on the east side and from street noise on the south (Sathorn) side. the pool is not clean and the restaurant breakfasts are fatening. The management is ineffective when complaints are made.
"Aa average 50-euros-per-night accommodation "
I've been there for several times. It's moderately priced and the location is ok. Staff is friendly and rooms are tidy and spacey. However, not all rooms are in good shape, part of them are worn-out. The pool area is nice but there are no umbrellas for shade. The gym is not too bad, but some of the equipment is broken. Once earlier I had problems with the air conditioning, and they couldn't fix it. This time the door to my room stopped working and I had to wait quite a while to get in again. The staff told me that it's a common problem there - so I hope they could do something for that. During my first stay a few years ago I had breakfast there but it was so bad. Don't know how it is nowadays.
