"Central but certainly not luxurious"
My room number 423 was perfect, loft style with a small balcony, can't say that the property is grand or luxurious in any manner, the breakfast was delicious. The rest was like living in a pensions., the hotel is so centralized that you can travel by foot anywhere. There is really nothing much in the hotel,
"Will be staying here again!"
I was blown away with this hotel. The location couldn’t have been any better and the accommodations were absolutely fantastic, as well as the staff. The breakfast was quite enjoyable too! The views from each of our two rooms were amazing- looking straight in to Old Town Square! My friends and I had a wonderful experience with this hotel. One friend that was traveling with us is wheelchair bound; I made arrangements with the hotel prior to arrival and everything couldn’t have gone smoother. I was very impressed at the makeshift modifications they were able to provide for getting the wheelchair in and out of the hotel as well as providing a room and bathroom with wheelchair accessible accommodations given that most Eastern European towns are not wheelchair friendly. Although, I believe they only have one or two rooms that are wheelchair accessible, so do check in advance! They were very quick responding to my emails when trying to book the rooms. I can’t wait to come back to stay again!
"A great stay - the best location "
This hotel has a wonderful location; a mere stones throw from the main square. We stayed in the loft apartment which was fabulous- large and (if a little sparse), well appointed. To nit pick- I thought that the hotel lacked a little....atmosphere' It was extremely quiet and with the exception of seeing another couple at breakfast- we didn't see anyone else for the entire stay. It was a little eerie. Annoyingly the elevator broke down 3 times in the 2 days we were there. I also thought it was a little odd that a five star hotel didn't have a porter at hand considering the slightly odd door configuration at the entry. Aside from this, the stay was pleasant enough.
It's just steps away from the Old Town Square. And yet, it us quiet enough as it is ticked in an alley with not much foot traffic. Our room was pretty and reasonably luxurious. The front desk staff was quite helpful and got us a reservation for dinner on Jan 1, when everything looked booked. Breakfast was quite decent. Nice room to sit. They have an evening tea which they advertise as free for guests, but there was nobody at the coffee/tea area at all. I finally got some coffee but was charged for it (though the person at the reception offered to waive it off). No kettle or coffee/tea in the room. It would have been nice to have some.
"Winter getaway "
Hotel Ventana was perfect for our 3 days in Prague. Centrally located to all historical sites. The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful recommending restaurants, they even packed us a goody bag on our departure. Highly recommend.
