"Quite boutique hotel"
Very nice and quite hotel. 15-20 minutes away from Florence center. Free shuttle available. Breakfast with amazing view. Only downside was the hotel is very quite so you cannot make noise. They have a very limited workout corner on the top floor. So like usual I went there for a workout at 8am in the morning which I assume is a usual time for workout. However I was asked by the staff to be quite as the noise from the bicycle was making too much noise.. I realised all people are are an older age so not a good hotel to enjoy with friends or families.. maybe if you are a couple.
It was our first time in Florence and I decided to book in this hotel because it was highly recommended to me by my friend who was so impressed with it. And he is right. It is located in the hills of Florence and you will see the magnificent view that will make you feel so calm that you just almost wanted to live in that place. It is a boutique hotel that is also perfect for honeymooners because of its ambience and location. Their breakfast buffet is so good which is located next to the veranda so you can also see the scenic view of Florence. The only problem that we had during our stay was the bathroom. It was so hard to take a bath especially at night because it was so cold. The breeze from the outside passes through the window. But other than that, everything was great.
"Gorgeous Villa in the Hills of Florence"
We absolutely loved this spot. Moments away from the Michael Angelo it was a perfect stay. We loved the breakfast so much! They had great music playing each morning and helped us to start our day a little happier if even possible. There was the most beautiful basilica steps away from us and I cannot remember the name. We spent almost an entire day there. Just the fact that it's Firenze Number Nine makes it all the more magical and sacred. You feel a very deep connection as soon as you walk in.
"Peaceful Oasis of Luxury"
Florence is very touristy and hectic. Villa La Vedetta, perched on the side of a hill, is the perfect antidote: a small, quiet, all-suite hotel with a personal touch. After a day battling the crowds, it was great to settle down for tea and cookies, before heading up to the well-appointed, very large rooms with high ceilings. Our room had a view of the Arno and the city beyond with a side-view to the Duomo. Some rooms have full views of the Duomo while others have garden views. Breakfast is served on an enclosed terrace with wonderful views of the entire city. A pool is available in the summer months. The hotel is a little bit out of town so some extra walking is required; they also offer a shuttle service. But the extra effort is well rewarded.
