"Nice Boutique Hotel"
I stayed here for the month of October this year for work. The hotel is nice but a be worn. The rooms are typical for a Parisian hotel of this type. The bed is from but comfortable. There was not tea/coffee service in my room so you had to go down to the bar/tea room to have tea or coffee. There is no restaurant but in this area of Paris there are many excellent restaurants within easy walking distance so it is not a problem. There is a good breakfast buffet in the morning though. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the Pantheon and the Sorbonne; about a 15 minute walk from the Luxembourg Gardens and the Notre Dame Cathedral so it is well located for getting around in the Latin Quarter. I recommend the hotel as it is nice and it's location is excellent.
"Good hotel in a good location"
The hotel itself has quite an old fashioned feel to it as many Paris hotel do. It is well kept though a little tatty in places. I had a standard room overlooking the street which is remarkably quiet at night for Paris. Service was very friendly and welcoming and keen to please, there was always someone available no matter what time. The breakfast was a nice spread of pastries, meats as well as some cooked food all buffet. Location wise this is in the Latin quarter so a short walk from a number of cool bars, lots of them with live music no matter what days of the week. The nearest big tourist attractions are the Notre dame and the Pantheon (no surprise). There are bike stations just outside and a metro within 3 minutes walk giving you prompt a cheap access to the rest of Paris. I wouldn't have any concerns about staying here again as it served the purpose very well, if you need a clean friendly base then this is a perfectly nice place. It just didn't knock my socks off but does a city hotel need to unless you're on honeymoon' :-)
"Exactly what we wanted!"
This hotel for us was just perfect! The building is old, traditional & incredibly charming and our room was spotlessly clean & quiet, despite the busy location. The bathroom had both bath and a powerful shower with plentiful hot water. The beds were very comfy & there was both safe & mini-bar in the room. All the staff were friendly & helpful and the hotel is perfectly situated, near Metro & RER stations, for visiting the Paris attractions & also the numerous restaurants & bars of the Latin Quarter.
"Extremely warm welcome"
On arrival after being moved here from the Maria -Villa Beaumarchais, due overbooking we moved to Villa Pantheon I was met by the concierge/reception Alkhan it was such a warm greeting it made me feel if this is the Parisian way GREAT - I was looking forward to my stay for 3 nights. Not disappointed, Ahmed the other concierge advised us on tours and recommended the dinner cruise - thanks again Ahmed, bus location outside to Laffyette , Eiffel Tower. The Barman was also a great guy Haroldo there is nothing better than leaving a destination and knowing you will be back, room spotless breakfast-is breakfast,! great location the change was to our benefit. Thank for a great stay to all the staff.
Great location. Very close to everything, but calm anyway. Very nice and helpful staff with at great sence of humour. Nice and pretty big room. Not much sound from outside. Comfortable beds. Just one minus, the fridge didn't work. But otherwise everything was nice.
