"Superb villa & garden, highly recommended "
Kamezi Villas First of all I'd like to address a few of the complaints below. Pool cleaning. The beautiful private pools are filtered fresh seawater. If you're too bone idle or stupid to use the provided pool net to scoop out the odd leaf every day (it's windy and there's trees- you work it out) then you don't deserve to have this lovely facility in your own private garden. "Only one tea towel" - we gave our dirty one back and asked for a clean one. Pretty simple. That's a top tip for you. Ants. It's a warm climate - ask for ant powder and deal with it. Not a massive issue. "Too much cleaning". We told them not to bother 5 times a week. We are grown ups and able to clean up after ourselves. If you tell them then they don't come knocking in the morning. We don't change our towels at home every day so we don't on holiday either. "Old hairdryers" didn't even look for ours. Couldn't care less. I'm on holiday, either in the pool or chilling out. Hair dryers and straighteners etc are for home. Bring your own if you're that bothered. Noise. What noise' Solid stone walls. Absolute nonsense. Even in the garden neighbours noise was minimal. Anyway who cares, folk are having a splendid time on their holidays. If it bothers you that much why not communicate with your neighbours' Dated. The villa is SPOTLESS. Every wall is white and looked recently painted. Even in a villa that hadn't been refurbished it's amazingly clean and has everything you need- kitchen utensils, cutlery, glassware, toiletries, toilet Paper, towels. Even candles for the table and a welcome pack of tea etc. The furniture is good quality and robust. Nothing was worn out or dirty. Good quality flat screen TV with 4 UK channels and loads of others. Absolutely no complaints from us in Leonardo da Vinci villa, only noted that the microwave was old but perfectly usable. Super location overlooking the sea from the immaculate private garden. Plenty of space - in fact an amazing amount of storage for all your clothes etc. Lovely comfy beds and crisp white linen. Decent sofa that was deep and comfortable. Loved the huge jacuzzi bath, what a treat! The pizza oven in the garden is ace we cooked steaks, fish and pizza- brilliant! Our only request would be for some metal rings or BBQ implements to use. We bought some plastic glasses to use in the garden for less than €2 in Spar. The wifi is superb. The pool is lovely and deep - we didn't bother heating it there was no need, it's super clean water and the outside shower is great to wash the salt off. Loved seeing the well cared for cats roaming about. Nice to see them being looked after by the owners of Kamezi. Enjoyed walking into Playa Blanca, taxis are indeed cheap but we had to get our Fitbit steps in every day! Plenty of bars and shops along the way to the main town and Marina Rubicon. Underwhelmed by the Wednesday market - unless fake sunglasses, football tops and tourist tat is your thing. Good choice of reasonably priced supermarkets, despite the dire GBP/Euro rates. Easy to get good provisions to cook at home - so do take advantage of the BBQ/pizza oven in your garden. Don't rate nearby La Flamenca at all unless hearing the ping of the overworked microwave all night is your idea of good cooking. Nothing was fresh. Very average. Papagayo beach is a good way to spend an afternoon walking along the cliff tops. Fabulous scenery. Also walk along to the right of Kamezi up to the lighthouse - good fun to scramble on the rocks there. We hired a car for the week for less than £100 (airport transfer is €30/45 each way) so this was an economical way to get to Kamezi and back to the airport plus have a couple of days out and about. Including the lava caves (brilliant) and Teguise market (good) and Timanfaya (good). We'd only suggest that some metal BBQ tools are supplied as you can't use the plastic kitchen tools so negotiating the garden oven is a bit tricky. Really enjoyed our week here and wouldn't hesitate to return. Fantastic set up - highly recommended!
"Excellent villas, highly recommended"
Heredad Kamezí is a small development of superior villas. They are very spacious, and despite being on a complex they are very private. The pool area and garden are not overlooked at all. It is very quiet and peaceful. It is also right on the sea front so you can walk out onto the coast path. The staff are excellent, and accomodated all our requests (e.g. walk-in shower). We had one of the unrefurbished villas, but this is still very good. It is starting to feel a bit dated, but still in good condition and very comfortable. The kitchen area is good and well supplied with china and cooking utensils etc. There is a good BBQ (charcoal). The mini-market on site has a good range of essentials, if you need more the main Hiper Dino in Playa Blanca is the best bet. There are a couple of good restaurants nearby, best is La Flamenca. Reception will give you a list of recommended restaurants in Playa Blanca and further afield. We would go back.
I booked a week at the property for me and my parents and from the minute we arrived, the service was fantastic. We arrived a little early and our room was not ready, however we were shown to another villa to relax in the cool while we waited. We were then given the keys to Ludwig Van Beethoven (an upgrade on what we had booked) - a three bedroomed villa which was stunning. On the first night, the electricity tripped, but within minutes of calling the duty manager, someone was there to fix the fault. Everything was fantastic from the time we arrived to the time we left. Perfect location, beautiful accommodation, faultless staff - who could ask for more. We will definitely be back!
"Beautiful relaxing stay "
We stayed in the Agatha Christie recently refurbished 2 bedroomed villa. We had requested a walk in shower as previous reviews said you may have difficulty getting into the over bath shower, if you have mobility issues. We were not disappointed with the massive large walk in shower we had. Previous reviews suggested having the pool heated on arrival which we were glad we did. Villa Very comfortable king size bed and another bedroom with two single beds. Maid service every day except Wednesday and Sunday. Always very friendly and kept villa clean. We had a few problems with ants in the bathroom but staff were very quick to correct this issue twice. Two bathrooms. One with jacuzzi bath/shower and the other with a walk in shower Kitchen We had been in the villa for a week without realizing with has a dishwasher and washing machine hidden behind the many cabinets !!! There was enough cutlery and crockery for us and our friends who stayed with us for the day and we used the BBQ outside in the garden. I would advise you take an extra tea towel as only one provided. Two tv' s in the villa, which we did not use. Safe available to use for free. No air con as is quite normal in Lanzorate but we have the use of a small fan and we're able to open the bedroom patio doors, we kept the shutters pulled across as previous reviews suggested we would be eaten alive by local bugs. This did not happen to us. Pool area The pool was heated on request on our arrival, for ten Euros a day. It was lovely having our own pool and sun loungers and beach towels provided. We ate at the outside table most lunchtimes but visited the local restaurants within a five minute walk away. Local supermarkets provided all that was needed to eat in the villa. On site shop has the basics but a little more expensive than the larger shops. If you walk to the back of the villas there is a gate that takes you on to the paved walk into Playa Blanchard. Takes about an hour and a half to walk. Car We hired a car but it is so cheap to get a taxi to the port and Marina Rubicon it's not necessary. Collecting the brand new car was so easy, just pick it up in the underground car park opposite the arrival area. We ate at Port of Call. La Flamanco which are just a short walk away. There are plenty of shops and restaurants by the strip at Playa Blancha port. Restaurants we enjoyed and will visit again when we return next year are Casa Brigida Sebastian's Imagine Indian Port of Call Islam Bonita Asia La Chalanita The Blue Note bar at Marina Rubicon is a nice relaxing jazz bar. The market here on Saturday and Wednesday is worth a visit too. We went on a boat trip booked at the office at Marina Rubicon. An intimate chill cruise for just twelve people, for four hours. We visited Timanfaya National Park. We were disappointed after queuing to get in and would not advise anyone to eat in the restaurant as the food was expensive and very greasy. Considering we were told that all hotels were fully booked whilst we stayed in the area we were surprised how quite and chilled the surrounding areas were. The breeze on the island keeps you cool and is comfortable to walk around in. If you want a nice quite relaxed holiday then these villas are for you.
A lovely and small scale park where excellent service, luxury and tranquility merge. The apartments are spacious, clean and fully equipped. The care of apartment, garden and pool is excellent. The front desk service is extremely pleasant and adequate. A rental car is convenient because the park is quite far from the center of Playa Blanca. The park lies on the coast. Using the promenade you walk in an hour to Playa Blanca, a nice walk. The little shop on the park is also very pleasant. You can get fresh bread every morning. In short: a highly recommended accommodation on the beautiful island of Lanzarote.
