"Surprisingly fabulous "
Thankfully these villas are a couple of miles outside of the madness of playa Blanca and I would suggest if staying here that you hire a car. Having said that there are some restaurants about a 15 minute walk away towards playa Blanca. The Italian is jolly good for pizza but other things looked iffy and would suggest giving the Indian a very wide birth. Was shocking! Back to villas We had booked a sea front villa. Well worth the extra cost. We were upgraded from 3 bed to 4 bed and had a good sized and very lovely garden with decent pool. We had the pool heated as wouldn't have been used otherwise at this time of year. Probably not necessary in summer. The villa was extremely spacious, very clean with 1 bathroom en suite to master bedroom and 2 shower rooms between the other 3 beds. We had a bit of noise from some renovation work on next door villa but reception staff were fantastic and offered to move us to another villa. We decided we preferred our garden so stayed put. They still offered us the use of another villa just for the day so we were not disturbed. They could not do enough for us and at the end of the day, work has to be done on buildings to keep them up to speed so that they are in good condition for people to enjoy. I would thoroughly recommend these villas. They are modern, clean, comfortable (slept so well) and completely fit for purpose. Think they are definitely the nicest villas in the area of playa Blanca (that we saw anyway) Almost daily maid service was v good and unobtrusive. Probably the only surprise was no oven but that wasn't a problem. We just didn't roast a chicken! If we return to Lanzarote I would definitely return.
"Excellent Villa Holiday."
We had a lovely relaxing week at this excellent well run small complex on the outskirts of Playa Blanca (the quiet Lighthouse end). Our villa was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, we loved the pool and garden area which were very well maintained and nicely peaceful and private. The salt water pool was fantastic as the weather was so good we felt no need to have it heated. The small onsite shop is well stocked with essentials (some local wine!) and has baked fresh bread and croissants available every morning, there is a bigger supermarket approx. 10 minutes walk away for more choice. The reception ladies were very helpful and friendly and a nice touch was the bottle of wine they put in our villa for my birthday!
"Lovely villa holiday"
We had a brilliant week in a lovely sea view villa - 4 adults celebrating 3 special birthdays. Winnie allocated us the best property on site to make our week extra special. She also arranged the car hire for us and can arrange transfers to and from the airport if needed. The complex is very well maintained, and each villa is spotlessly clean, well equipped and has complete privacy. It's about one hour's walk along the promenade to the town and a further 20 minutes to the marina. A taxi from town is 5 euros. You can walk along the coast for miles in either direction or enjoy the many restaurants in the town and marina. There's plenty to do in Playa Blanca, but with the hire car we could enjoy other parts of the island too - the volcano tour at the Timanfaya National Park, the 2 quirky houses which belonged to the artist Manrique, his underground entertainment complex at Jameos del Agua, a sea food lunch at El Golfo, a short walk from Haria to view the stunning crags and beach at Famara. Highly recommended.
"Perfect family holiday destination "
Perfect family holiday villa for a week with my children. Villa was clean and tidy, own pool that was clean and safe for the children. Winnie at reception was amazing- nothing too much trouble at all and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. We we upgraded to a four bed without realising until we checked in and had a fabulous break. Will definitely be visiting again
"Wonderful winter sun"
We stayed in a 3 bedroom, sea front villa for two weeks. The reception staff (thank you Winnie) were excellent and could not have been more helpful. All villa and pool cleaning was to a high standard. The cleanliness of the whole complex was excellent. The little shop is well supplied with all the basics including delicious freshly cooked croissants and bread. For a good selection of food and very good meat for the BBQ we went to the the Spar in central Playa Blanca. The villa is equipped well enough but please note that the 'fully equipped' kitchen does not include a full oven. There is a small microwave/electric oven/grill and hob. For the 2 of us this was ok but meals for larger groups could be difficult. The BBQ was excellent though. There are several restaurants within in walking distance which also do take away and one of them will deliver. We paid extra to have the pool heated and were able to float about in the pool, in the sun most days. The nights are cool at this time of the year so extra layers are required in the evening. We found the memory foam mattresses and pillows to be very comfortable. The villa we stayed in was a little tired in places but was clean and comfortable and always well supplied with towels etc. We have been visiting Playa Blanca for over 30 years and have obviously seen major changes in terms of the growth of tourism. These villas are located in a very quiet tranquil position, ideal for wonderful strolls along the foot path in the winter sunshine. You would probably need to take a car bus or taxi to the main shops and restaurants in the centre of Playa Blanca . I would highly recommend Heredad Kamezi
