Stayed here for 3 night's at the end of March, in a double room. The lady on reception was very helpful and friendly. Our room had a double bed and a built in wardrobe, a desk and stool, a mini fridge and a coffee machine. The bathroom was a good size and had a shower over bath, wash basin and toilet. The shower screen wasn't long enough to prevent the water from spraying so the floor and toilet did get wet but a towel on the floor sorted this out right away to prevent slipping. Clean towel's and bed's made every day during our stay. About an 8 minute walk to Galleries Lafayette and Opera, 20 minute walk to Moulin Rouge, the metro station's in Paris are amazing and are dotted about all over. I noticed all the road's seem to cross path's at one point or another so it makes travelling around very simple. Overall, nice friendly hotel in an easy to access spot to explore Paris on foot or by Metro. Also we didn't get chance to go but for you cat lover's there's a Cat Cafe around the corner from this hotel.
Good hotel with nice people at reception and at breakfast. Clean and with new furnitures. Close to Metro/RER station. Expensive for the ratio Quality/price, as most of the hotels in Paris. 30-40 € less should be the correct price for it.
"Wonderful Boutique Hotel in Central Location"
My friends and I stayed at the Villathena while covering Paris Fashion Week. There were 3 of us and we booked there triple room which was essentially 2 separate rooms oddly connected yet very spacious and accommodating. This is a boutique hotel so don't expect the grand ritz or marriot. The Rooms are modern and clean and most have great views of a cute very parisian street in front. My only minor complaint is they do not provide any face towels (You know the small ones to wash your face with or even shower) only medium and large sized towels. When I went downstairs to request one, the gentlemen had no clue what I was talking about and said they don't carry those. I thought this was odd for any hotel to not have. Other than that, the front desk staff was friendly even assisting us in booking reservations at our favourite restaurant Ferdi. They gave great directions and suggestions of nearby places to go.
"Nice and clean hotel"
nice hotel, clean and tidy. However, both the room and the toilet are small even though we were told we were upgraded to executive room. Location is great as it is close to train stations and tourist spots.
The room was beautiful and very clean. The best part of staying at this hotel was having restaurants and cafes just across the street. Also, the metro was within walking distance. Another plus was that the staff was friendly.
