Hotel Vincci Palace is located in La Paz, near Porta de la Mar and Paseo de la Ciudadela. The hotel is next to the famous Miguelete de Valencia, 5 minutes from the Cathedral and close to the Church of Our Lady of the Departed and the Torres de Serranos. Enjoy the liveliest and most commercial area of the city.
Arrived very late, booking lost in system, but reception persevered and they got me booked in. Room is comfortable if small and breakfast very good. Overall well located hotel in heart of old town. Would use again although it is more tourist than business establishment.
We arrived very early on a thrusday in low season - in an email to the hotel we asked for a nice room with a view and an early check in if possible. The check in was not possbile before 1 pm, the check in itself took ages and the room had a view on the trash cans as well as the wall of the neigbours building. The noise was loud, there were building processes the whole day on the floor above us and some of my make up went missing on the last day.
"Nice hotel great location"
Room was a little tight but it was very modern, clean, and comfortable. Amazing lobby! We had our first "aqua de Valencia" in the dining area as there weren't any nearby bars/restaurants that were opened. The hotel is located in the city centre and is walkable to most tourist spots. 5-10 min walk to the Mercado central. If you have a car, keep in mind that the hotel is situated on a busy street so there really isn't room to pull over. We had to pull into one of the alleyways. There's an underground hotel parking for small cars for 16€ per day. I think we scratched our rental car. It was a very tight spot to get into the car lift and park. If you don't have a lot of stuff, I would recommend parking elsewhere and walk. Otherwise, for a one night stay, it was comfortable and convenient for us. Also a 5 min walk to the shopping stores like LV. Don't forget to try the paellas when visiting Valencia!! Have a great stay!
"Great base for the city"
Right in the heart of the city Vinci Palace is an ideal base for a weekend exploring. Easy walking distance to food market and cathedral. Hotel room was lovely - very spacious and great shower. Good breakfast with plenty of choice
"Good location, limited facilities"
The Vincci Palace is very well located in the old city, and its interior has good contemporary design in an older building. It shows individual character, which you don't always find in a chain hotel. Our room was a reasonable size, but a bit short of storage space for two people for a week. The bathroom was aesthetically attractive, but a few minor details suggested that the designer hadn't though enough about practical use. Both were coming to the point where refurbishment would be a good idea. There were no tea/coffee facilities, which was a pity because of the limited facilities elsewhere. There are some signs that the hotel may once have tried to operate a restaurant, but at present the facilities are open only for a very respectable breakfast. A bar/café is open for a couple of hours in the middle of the day and a couple in the evening (though there is a Starbucks next door). The solarium was closed for works when we were there, and there are no other facilities. We found the staff very helpful, but limited in what they could do; for example, they don't offer a proper concierge facility. Overall, this hotel doesn't really have the facilities you'd expect of a 4* hotel, and is perhaps more suited to a short business stay than a longer one for leisure. However, you might forgive those things for the location - and of course if you are offered 3* prices.
