"Abba in Mala Strana"
Overwhelmingly rich decorated retro style hotel..Friendly reception staff and slightly cranky breakfast employees.. But yeah, if you are listening to Abba's greatest hits every single day it is quite understandble that it takes an effort to release your daily smile.. Room was very spacious but the airco sounded like a real time aquarium..Annoying because for sea sounds I 'd rather go to a beach resort
.this is a bad hostle more then a 4 star hotel .breakfast is poor and lame amature staff with no customer service awareness we were asked to pay the minute we arrived although its not written and after getting an approval to pay on check out, next morning we were again demanded to pay you can hear from the room the neighbors talking and everytime someome is taking a shower
"Wonderful, need improvement "
We've been here on September. The location is amazing. The design is marvellous. The room was so comfortable and I spent the first hour just to take picture because of his particularity. I think the area that needs improvement is the breakfast. It was ok but you could more things to eat. Anyway in total was a beautiful experience spent there! Thank you everyone!
We have just returned from a four night stay at this hotel. My daughter booked as a present for my partner and I. What can I say about the hotel its quirky and lovely. The staff are fantastic and furnishings are fantastic. It wont be everyone's cup of tea but I think people who book this are looking for a little something different from the usual chain hotel. The hotel is situated up a slight hill very near to the American embassy. Because of this there are police outside here 24 hrs a day, and our transfer car was stopped and checked on the way in. Once at the hotel we were quickly checked in and shown to our room which was room 23. I think the carpets had just been shampooed as the were slightly damp an arrival but this was only for a few hours (which we were out for anyway) so in no way affected our experience. The hotel is situated in the Lesser Town and about a 10 minute casual walk from Charles Bridge. I enjoyed staying in Lesser Town as the Old Town did get very busy so it was nice to escape over to the Lesser Town side. All-in all I would say this a a good base for someone to explore from I'm not the fittest person but did manage the hill to the hotel pretty easily. I would also like to mention JJ Murphys at the end of the street. A lovely Irish themed bar with good food and drink very well priced. Prague is a lovely place and although this was my first visit it wont be my last...
"Clean,quiet and very interesting "
The hotel was perfect for us, a central location, very clean accommodation and amazing decor. There are things to look at around each corner and it's lovely to just walk around. The breakfast offering is purely continental but there is an additional menu you can pay for, which includes omelet and French toast. Tea is feee but you have to pay for Coffee. The only negative about the room is that there wasn't an external window and so it was quite claustrophobic. The room so down open out onto the corridor and are at waist height so we didn't have them open at all. If you feel the need for fresh air and natural light then this isn't the room for you. For this reasons only, I personally would stay here again.
