""The" Place In Goa."
It is different. It is better. It is beautiful. You will miss it when you are back. The Property, The Food, The Service everything is just above the rest. They pamper you to the core. We had an amazing time. Early morning sea views. Private Balconies. Different varieties of restaurants. You say it you get it. In fact writing about it now I am missing it. It is a must visit when in Goa.
"Excellent place with amazing views"
This is great place to stay as well as for F&B. It has amazing location with unlimited sea view from most of its rooms and restaurants. The swimming pool overlooking the sea / beach is a great location to shoot good clicks. A must visit place whenever you are in Goa.
Probably just the perfect place for one to stay. From rooms to service to food everything is beyond excellence. They pamper you until you get spoiled and suddenly once you are back to work after your holiday it all seems like a dream. A special thanks to Nupur who escorted us to our room and offered any kind of assistance for our 20 month old son. Ninad and Prit who were always active at the restaurant and ensured we enjoyed every meal of ours.Chef Rukesh and Chef Manoj were just fantastic. They say when you cook something cook it with heart/love and that is exactly what these 2 chefs did. The quality of food was lip smacking and besides that they also cooked separate/special non spicy food for my son. I certainly couldnt have asked for more. We were very well taken care of ,just like family. I would like to thank every staff of the Taj Fort aguada for the courteous attitude shows during our stay and making it a memorable one. Looking forward to visit you again. Hopefully soon. Thanks
"Perfect ending to a trip to India"
After a grand tour of India organized by Nazir Karnai and his team at Explore India, of Vancouver BC, we had 4 days at the Taj Fort Agauda in Goa, which was welcome relief as it is very relaxing and especially so after having done so much travelling. Every part of India is unique, however Goa is very special. There is a tropical, jungle like vibe and the weather and the sea are perfect. The Taj is a low rise property steps down to the beach which was very clean. The hotel is open. One can sit in the lobby and look at the beautiful pool and the ocean. There is a lovely store and a several restaurants. We ate breakfast in the dining room daily and it had many offerings. Although there are other restaurants at the hotel to lunch or have dinner in, we chose to explore the local restaurants suggested to us by other hotel guests who had been to Goa before . Our rooms were garden rooms, which gave us the chance to walk straight from the pool into the room from the garden or to sit in our little backyards and enjoy. The rooms were comfortable, although a bit tired and in need of updating. Still, this did not interfere with our enjoyment at all. The rooms were cleaned twice daily and fresh towels were offered. All staff at the hotel were pleasant and tried very hard to please. We took taxis to town and enjoyed local shopping, dining and people watching. We just wanted to relax after a long trip and Goa was perfect for this. The Taj was a lovely spot to chill out, rewind and add to the memory bank of India 2017
"One of my worst experiences in a Taj property and experience enough to never step into a Taj property... PERIOD !!"
This is potentially my first day in the 3 day stay with Taj Fort Aguarda ... have always been a loyal holiday goer with Taj if that be Delhi, Kerala, Kochi or Goa ( these are the ones I have frequented often) This is a holiday I got my dad, my inlaws and my immediate family to conclude 2 days at Kochi, 3 days in Maldives and finally wanted to close my vacation with my favourite location ( which is Goa) and my otherwise favourite stay arrangement at the Taj. We got ourselves 3 deluxe sea facing rooms for the family and the first instance when u saw the place it did not impress me one bit... however the horror starts when I get into the bathroom... no floor mats, only bath tubs for bathing purpose which is still ok, however the tubs had no rubber mats which I realised of the horror when my 3 year old slipped in the tub due to slippery floor and finally the bathroom fittings which needed a muscle man to operate the shower such clunky bath fitting which may have been rusted or something but need a strong knock to stop the flow of water. This is typically too early a review I would give for any of my stay, but this has made me realise the Taj I have known of is no longer existent .... guess it's time for me to start looking at other brands. Would never recommend anyone to try the deluxe rooms in the Taj Aguarda property, other cheaper options around Baga and Calangute are available which are 1000 times better than this property. Time to sign off Taj with my final stay with them this week.
