"Don't Stay Here - Too Noisey!"
The Parc Hotel Is a dive - it is located near the back entrance to the Sheraton hotel and our room heard noise from semi-trucks making deliveries all night long. The pictures looked good on the website, but there is nothing special about this hotel. We turned the AC on high and had the tv on and still heard deliveries. We are so disappointed, no views except of the backside of hotels.
"Nice hotel near shopping/dining"
The location of this hotel is great if you want to be within walking distance of shopping/dining & small beaches but it is in a very noisy area of town. Our room had a city view which was basically looking at a parking garage & buildings. The garbage truck came around 5 AM & dumped multiple bins & the valet staff for the garage across the way would set off car alarms at all hours so they could find the car they were to pick up. Now for the good stuff. The hotel staff was incredible; everyone was super nice & accommodating. The hotel is very clean & well maintained but the "balcony" was incredibly small. Parking & breakfast (great buffet with very good food/service & free coffee/tea all morning) are pretty pricey so if you can, choose a room when booking that offers these two things in the room price (you get a bit of a break). The pool area is nice & free towels/beach mats are offered for the pool & the beach at the concierge desk. There is a very large lanai but no way to use it (no chairs/tables). This would be a great space for guests to hang out in a comfortable area but right now it is just wasted space. There are washers/dryers which are very cheap to use & they offer detergent. They offer a fully stocked shower room if you have to check out but are not ready to leave due to a late flight. Our room was pretty big & comfortable with lots of amenities in the bathroom. Water was hot & the shower was powerful. Wi-Fi (free) worked great everywhere in the hotel that we went. The air conditioning worked great but had a bit of a musty smell. There are no resort fees. So, if you’re looking to stay in a busy area with lots of shopping/dining, this is a great place but if you’re looking for a quieter option, I would not recommend it.
"Very Nice stay at the Parc Waikiki"
Very Pleasant, Convenient, close to everything, Had a nice view of the beach out our patio balcony, Our room was on the 21st floor, not sure if the lower floors would have had as nice of view being that other buildings may block the view. Dennys restaurant right on the ground floor, which was right next to a very well stocked convenience store/souvenir store, (ABC Store) that had an excellent Deli in it, with a wine shop/liquor store. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. Has free Valet parking if you happen to rent a car as we did.
"Love this hotel!"
We just stayed here 3 nights and it was really awesome! I was worried about being up on the "busier" end of Waikiki as we usually stay towards the Diamondhead end. I was pleasantly surprised! It was quiet and so close to the beach, just a quick walk across the street and down the path and you are there! We booked a superior mountain view room but were upgraded to Ocean View! We were on the 10th floor and had a lovely view through the two hotels that are on the beach. They provide towels for the day and the location is perfect! Rooms are very nice with super comfortable beds!
"Expect the best hospitality!"
We've been going back to the Parc past 5 years and this will be my 3rd rave review. Regardless I felt that other travelers who are considering to stay at the Parc can rest assured that they will receive the best hospitality and truly wonderful time here whether as a couple or as family. Aside from the Parc being a chic modern hotel that is really close to the beach, it's truly the staff that makes us want to stay at the Parc over and over again. Debbie once again helped us with reserving our room with breath-taking ocean view. After counting 365 days we were back to the Parc and greeted by the same friendly valet folks and front desk staff (Bernie and everyone were so kind to our family with a toddler girl). Our room was sparkly clean and some delicious treats were waiting for us (thank you Julie!). Every morning, breakfast was delightful with Wendy and Karen's big smiles. Everyone was willing to go above and beyond to accommodate our child by quickly setting up high chair & water as we walk in! Also, this time our little one was old enough to run around every corner of the hotel and we felt pretty safe letting her do so. All I can say is a big THANK YOU to all staff for making us truly feel at home. Please keep all your staff after renovation!
