"Love this hotel!"
We just stayed here 3 nights and it was really awesome! I was worried about being up on the "busier" end of Waikiki as we usually stay towards the Diamondhead end. I was pleasantly surprised! It was quiet and so close to the beach, just a quick walk across the street and down the path and you are there! We booked a superior mountain view room but were upgraded to Ocean View! We were on the 10th floor and had a lovely view through the two hotels that are on the beach. They provide towels for the day and the location is perfect! Rooms are very nice with super comfortable beds!
"Expect the best hospitality!"
We've been going back to the Parc past 5 years and this will be my 3rd rave review. Regardless I felt that other travelers who are considering to stay at the Parc can rest assured that they will receive the best hospitality and truly wonderful time here whether as a couple or as family. Aside from the Parc being a chic modern hotel that is really close to the beach, it's truly the staff that makes us want to stay at the Parc over and over again. Debbie once again helped us with reserving our room with breath-taking ocean view. After counting 365 days we were back to the Parc and greeted by the same friendly valet folks and front desk staff (Bernie and everyone were so kind to our family with a toddler girl). Our room was sparkly clean and some delicious treats were waiting for us (thank you Julie!). Every morning, breakfast was delightful with Wendy and Karen's big smiles. Everyone was willing to go above and beyond to accommodate our child by quickly setting up high chair & water as we walk in! Also, this time our little one was old enough to run around every corner of the hotel and we felt pretty safe letting her do so. All I can say is a big THANK YOU to all staff for making us truly feel at home. Please keep all your staff after renovation!
"Heart loving staff with full dedication."
Fantastic and why, let me explain. No this is not a 5* hotel and yes it may be that the building isn't the newest in Honolulu but all of that is not important if you have been here and felt the absolute dedication and heartloving spirit of the staff. They were genuinely happy and nice to be there, which is not a common thing for Honolulu. From lobby to cleaning staff. Such a refreshing experience! Oh and the room, it's clean, it's nice and has a lovely bed. We had the premium ocean view which was fantastic. Room 1604. Also very practical was the laundry station in floor 8. 2$for wasching and 2$for drying (coin exchange machine is there for 1$bills). Small tipp: don't stay on floor 8, pool, laundry and fitness are on these floors and therefore lots of people who roam the hallways. All in all, i would stay here again without a doubt. Other hotel in honolulu we have stayed in "the modern" - not as good as The Parc , not as friendly. I choose the Parc in a second.
Went off the reviews booking this hotel. The noise was a big problem and this was not due to bars and restaurants but from the bus depot below as it is a very busy culdesac and is used by a lot of buses and tour companies. We were booked in a mountain view side which is the worst side in regards to noise. We were moved to a side room on the 15th floor and unfortunately was no different. We were told they are having renovations in the next year... Hope that means double glazed windows are going in. Staff are great but unfortunately we value our sleep far to much and therefore wouldn't recommend.
With a perfect location to restaurants and shopping, this boutique-style hotel is excellent especially if you choose its Parc Sunrise Bonus Car Package, which includes parking and in/out privileges. We used the car during the day to visit sights and walked to dinner every night. Our prime ocean view room was nicely refurbished, comfortable and clean albeit the bathroom maybe small by some modern standards. The buffet breakfast, in the former Nobu space, was always fresh and well-stocked with fresh local fruit plus omelettes, eggs and pancakes made to order and Asian options. Hotel and restaurant staff were excellent! Yes there is street noise; it can't be avoided anywhere along the beach. On the flip side we could hear Hawaiian music drifting up to our 16th floor balcony from the Halekulani and the Outrigger Reef. Over 30 years we've stayed in hotels and condos from one end of Waikiki to the other; however, we had our most relaxing experience here. There are plans to renovate the hotel so come and experience the Parc before the cost increases.
