There are some very positive attributes to this hotel, but I would not stay there again. Pros: -The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and can certainly compete with any 5 star hotel. The concierge recommended great excursions, the front desk was helpful and the cleaning staff greeted you with a smile. -The location is ideal. The beach is across the street; restaurants and shopping is right around the corner, and the Sheraton Bus terminal is next door, which was great for some of the excursions to the other side of the island. - The Oceanview was nice and enabled you to see the Hilton' s Friday night fireworks. Cons: -The hotel is very basic in decor and could use an upgrade. The tiles look pretty dingy and everything just looks a little old and worn. From the elevators to the hallways, the hotel is just okay; -The bathroom is tiny, with a shower tub combo; -Room service only offers 3 types of salad and a turkey club as entrees. (This really hurt me one night after a long day of snorkeling. I just wanted to order room service, but the options were expensive and unappetizing); -No minibar. Overall, if you are looking for luxury, this is not the hotel for you. But, if you don't care about that and are just looking for a good location and great customer service, then this is ideal.
Great Hotel with fantastic staff. Great base to enjoy the many things the island has to offer. Great rooms and great location. Access to many great Beaches only yards away. Would recommend highly for all kinds of travellers.
"Wonderful hotel in centralized location"
We stayed at the Parc with the "Parc Sunrise Breakfast Package" that includes complimentary parking. It is great that this hotel does not charge a separate resort fee. The hotel is on a side street but steps away from the beach, Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center and the new International Marketplace which I consider the "middle" of Waikiki. We found the room clean, and the beds comfortable. Our request for a quieter room (since we are light sleepers) was honored which we really appreciate. The speedy elevators meant practically no waiting. We especially enjoyed the buffet breakfast. Standard American items (example: waffle, bacon, sausage links, Portuguese sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, pastries, bread, etc) and Japanese items (example: rice, miso soup, and various fixings) are offered buffet style. Other than the make to order omelettes, they will also boil or poach eggs upon your request. There were great fresh fruit selections as well. I will never get tired of enjoying the ripe papayas and pineapples everyday. One of the many amenities offered to Parc guests is free admission to the excellent Bishop Museum which we utilized. The hotel (and this package) offers exceptional value when one figures in the breakfast, parking, no resort fees and museums admissions. I would stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.
"Boutique hotel "
Boutique hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and tidy. Not all rooms have a balcony which was a big let down.the restaurant was great for breakfasts but there was much better restaurants around for dinners . Overall had a wonderful stay.
Hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful decor, very comfortable, amazing view, if in Oceanview. Short walk to the beach. Close to spectacular shopping. When exiting the hotel, the beach is just across the road, however the beach is very small. The wine mixer is a great touch.
