Hotel un pò fuori dal centro storico, ma ben colegato, il tram passa ogni 10 minuti fino a mezzanotte. Camere belle e pulite. Colazione continentale molto abbondante. Lo consiglio.Comment of P. Ivana , Italy the 2015-03-01
"3 day 2 nights kinda vacation ❤"
We came to Amsterdam for the very first time for my 25th Birthday.. We arrived early morning Monday and left very late Wednesday night... During our time there we stayed at the WestCord 3* side and absolutely loved it!! The rooms where amazing and very spacious! The bed was super big and comfy and the shower was just amazing 😍 I actually miss it! The staff were so friendly, kind and thoughtful, as when we went up to the room they had left us a complimentary bottle of fizz and a note wishing me a happy birthday 😊 as well as a little bag of sweeties, nespresso and toiletries! I just cannot fault this hotel at all, it was spotless and well looked after, nothing was to much for them. Yes there are Road works outside and it does make it slightly difficult to get to at first but this is not the hotels fault, and once u get used to it it's okay.. it's still a 5 minute walk to each bus stop (number 22 takes you to and from central station and the hotel, and comes every 10mins or so) just take comfy decent shoes and ul be fine as it's quite muddy.. All in all a fab stay and the hotel made it even better for us, we will be going back to Amsterdam next year when it's a tad warmer (it rained the whole time we was there) and will be staying in the same hotel Deffo!! Thanks WestCord!!
"Decent hotel for reasonable price "
Easy to get to central station only complain would be about food as not enough option for vegetarian. Lasagna is nothing like lasagna:( Staff was really nice and friendly with everything. One of the best coffee we had during our stay
"Lovely Welcoming Hotel"
We book a junior suite on booking.com and upgraded to a suite when they contacted me with a very good deal. When we were checking in the receptionist noticed that it was my birthday and made a fuss, she then arrived at our room door two minutes later with a card and a bottle of red wine which I thought was a lovely thing to do! The room itself was huge, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Only slight niggle is the lovely big seating area is very uncomfortable - a cosy sofa would be good! Breakfast was delicious and all members of staff were very friendly and helful. It is a little way out of town but the reception staff will point you in the direction of the bus and give you a free map. We mostly walked and it too around 30 minutes. Highly Recommend!
"5 lovely days in Dam!"
My partner and I stayed at Westcord Art Hotel from Monday 21st to Friday 25th November. We walked to the hotel from the airport, which took about 40 mins but it was a lovely walk nonetheless. We were greeted by a lovely team of staff at the hotel who told us where the best places to go were. At the time of our stay there were road works and construction right outside the hotel, however our room was towards the back of the hotel so we didn't have any noise from the machines. Throughout our stay our room was cleaned to a good standard and my partner took full advantage of the coffee machine in our room. The bathroom was very clean, and they shower was a very decent size. All in all I would recommend this hotel 100% to any family or friends wanting to visit. It is located close to the city, just a 25-30 walk. Basically a straight road to and from the city. Both my partner and I, enjoyed our stay and would deffinatley visit again in the future! :)
"Fantastic location with bus stop outside"
First visit to Amsterdam for me and a friend, stayed for 3 nights and tried to squeeze as much activities as we could in! Fantastic location, bus stop out side that runs every 20 minutes or so, drops and pick ups right outside central station in city centre. Journey is about 15 minutes. Hotel was cleaned to high standard and beds comfy. The staff on the desk were very helpful and knowledgable with advise on travel (tram numbers etc) around Amsterdam to visit attractions and places of interest and also gave good advise on trains out of the city centre to visit other locations around Amsterdam. We didn't explore the hotel at all. We preferred to eat and drink out, however the hotel did look pricey. There was very little complementaries in the room, for £100 a night. There was a coffee machine with 3 pods and the pods weren't topped up during our 3 night stay. Coffee on premises was not cheap. I would probably stay at Westcord if visiting Amsterdam again but pack a travel kettle and some instant coffee! Haha!
