Very good value. Great room. Pool was very nice although pool smaller than expected. I would definitely stay here again.Comment of P. Amarjit , Canada the 2016-04-07
"Westin las vegas"
Im a starwood member so like booking in network for points. I love this property location its a very short walk to ballys, paris, cosmo, bellagio, miracle mile shops, planet ollywood, cromwell, and flamingo. Rooms very clean, beds comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet good value at $20, i usually eat enough to get me till dinner! Prime rib buffet $25 weekend nights, grab a $5 off coupon at giftshop so only $20/pp good deal! Pool is not huge or glamorous as the other hotels but deck is nice pool clean. Not a lot of space or chairs so get up there by around 11 or no seats if a nice day. Starbucks located in hotel open very late. Small but nice casino. The spa is not open but will grand open new spa in a few months the staff said. Gym is temporary also right now, its being remodeled. Great bar area on main level. Easy getting cabs or uber no real line up which is great!! I highl recommend this property its great for singles, business, couples and families. Great stay will be back!!
"Very very loud air conditioner "
Extremely loud a/c that outrivals cheap window units. Even if you turn it off and put on earplugs, it will still keep you awake if your neighbour doesn't turn his off. With yours off, there is no white noise to smooth out the extremely loud volume. Double rooms have two double, not queen, beds. Bed linens are clean and towels fluffy. Small weekend prime rib and shrimp buffet dinner ($24.95) is delicious including the really fresh fruit salad. Casino is not busy so not smoky. They also have a few wheelchairs available for borrowing from concierge. If it weren't for the noisy a/c, this would be a great hotel.
"Nice quiet place as a whole."
Close to everything and fairly quiet if you are on a higher floor. There isn't anything you can do about the police cars and fire engines blasting their way by the place. Room was clean and comfortable. I had no problems with the place at all.
Very nice. Clean sheets, comfortable beds, plenty of pillows, good maid service. Two blocks off the Strip. Easy check-in and check-out. Did not have any issues. Clean bathrooms. Pretty good toiletries.
"Nice Facility & Decent Location"
I stayed just one night while attending a meeting in town. The location is not so far off The Strip that it would be an uncomfortable walk but far enough off to not be so hectic. My room was in the third floor and was very comfortable, quiet, clean and well appointed. The bathroom was good sized and relatively modern. The AC worked fine but the fan was on the loud side. Still it formed a white noise which made me unaware of any other sounds. This reads more ominous than I intend. The staff was helpful. Parking was free. I walked to the Ellis Island Casino to try the Cafe and their brewery. Read those reviews for a nearby local funky spot. Good Westin property.
