"An 18th and 50th Birthday Celebration"
Stayed at the Wetin Times Square A perfectly situated base for sight seeing Had a very nice welcome, The rooms were spacious and very clean, would definately recommend this Hotel and would return again in the future. Thanks to the staff who were all very helpful
I had requested early arrival and quiet, but my room wasn't ready and then when I finally was given one, it was near the elevator and there was a screaming child next door. Eventually I was moved to a very nice room that was quiet. Pastries and bagels were mediocre at breakfast, but service was excellent at both breakfast and lunch. The room is rather minimalistic and I wasn't fond of the sliding door to the bathroom. But lighting was good..
"Weekend in NYC"
The service in this hotel was nothing short of amazing! Every Westin employee was welcoming, kind, and ready to make our weekend in NYC great. The room is basic, but the views are spectacular. The bed is comfortable, and the size of the room is larger than a typical NYC room. We will most definitely be returning.
"Great Location & Good Service"
The hotel was very good, the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. We traveled to NYC with our teen-aged grandchildren. The hotel gave us rooms next to each other which was great. The room service staff was friendly and the rooms were cleaned up very quickly. The only negative would be that the in house restaurant was basically bar food. They could upgrade it a bit, however there were many good restaurants nearby.
"No free wifi'!'!"
I loved the hotel, but because Times Square is the worst part of NYC, I disliked the location. But that's not their fault ;) If you want to be in the midst of a ton of tourists that have no idea where they're going, this is your place! I hated not having free wifi in our room. I did not want to pay 16-20 bucks a day for wifi, or have to go down to the lobby if I wanted wifi. We blew through our data plan in no time! Beds were very comfy, which is important after walking all over NYC all day. On that note, I wish they had had a spa service so I could get a massage at a place I trust and not a questionable nail parlor with massages on the side. The staff were super friendly and that was very lovely. If I had not been traveling with a group, I would've chosen a hotel not in Times Square or at least a less expensive one.
