"All in all it was very good!"
I enjoyed everything about the hotel from the quick check in to the very nice staff. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Front desk staff were quick and pleasant. The food was good and everyone is helpful. If you ever need help ask for Leon Williams he was my front desk agent and had me checked in without any issues in about 3 minutes. The only thing I would suggest to this hotel is to lower the rate of parking other than that it was great!
"Beware of hidden fees!"
Beware!!! I prepaid my stay at the hotel through Hotwire and was surprised to find a extra charge of $66 on my credit card. After going through endless phone prompts and waiting on hold I finally got a hold of a human who informed me that the charge was for hotel facility fees - specifically internet, shuttle bus, exercise facility, and a bottle of water, none of which I used. These exorbitant hidden fees are the work of unscrupulous thieves.
"Not much character, but no complaints."
OK, the rooms are a little "50 Shades of Beige" - there's no attempt at any personality or character here. That said, there's nothing missing (except maybe pay-per-view movies), everything worked fine and there was plenty of space and a charming view out to the bay. I thought the hotel was pretty good value - I used the 24 hr fitness room every night at 3am (love a bit of jetlag) and got a great day by the pool on my last day too. Location is blissfully quiet at night - perfect for me as I stay on UK time - though there's a lack of anywhere to grab a bite to eat or drink for a block or so. Service was impeccable and even managed to keep my room for an extra 3 hours on day of departure. Don't forget to call for the free airport transfer too.
"high prices and some problems, but excellent customer service"
This is not an inexpensive hotel, costing 300+ dollars per night for lodging and almost $50/night more (!) for parking. So, I would expect the facilities to be well maintained. However, when we arrived we found that (a) the high temperature limit for my shower was set far too low and (b) the diverter in my friend's shower was malfunctioning. Still, the staff repaired both problems promptly and courteously, even though they had to drill out and replace a screw to do so. Later, we tried to use the TV set to play audio from an iPod, but found that it shut down after a short while because it wasn't getting video as well. Understandably, the support engineer (Jose) couldn't re-engineer the set, but he obtained and provided us with a set of powered speakers so that we could listen to our music. Jose rocks!
"Centrally located hotel with a mix of service "
Stayed here for a week. Very comfortable beds and adequate facilities. Wifi temperamental. Bar staff Melisa and beverage manager Shane were seriously the best, very customer focused, very polite and caring towards each guest at the bar really did those little things that make them stand out as been at the top of their game in their focus and what they do... the rest of the hotel staff are quite rude, aloof and sharp.. everything seems to be an effort for them to complete. Requested to speak to General Manager twice and was told that I should post my comment on trip advisor instead. Hopefully the this particular hotel can retrain their front of house staff and sort out the problems or person that is obviously making this a miserable place to work.
