"Great hotel, Great Location."
Stayed for 3 nights from 19th September on a tour with Mercury Holidays. Could not fault the hotel, other than the room decor, which was a little drab for my taste, but we're all different. Staff very polite and attentive, breakfast superb (best scrambled egg I've had away from home) and outstanding views from the rooftop terrace and pool. The rooftop bar is a great place to relax and the meals are good and very reasonable. I would not hesitate to stay there again if I was to return to Rio.
"All the comforts of home"
Arrived in Rio to attend the 2016 Paralympic Games. The Windsor Leme Hotel is a quite oasis in this bustling city. Magnificiently sitting in a quiet section of Copacabana Beach, this hotels has it all. From the picturesque rooms overlooking the Atlantic ocean along Copacabana Beach to the breakfast buffet that has something for everyone to the quiet quasi secluded area where the hotel is located. The hotel sits along Atlantica Avenue. Just across the street from the hotel are the white sands of Copacabana Beach. If you grow tired of sun worshipping, a short distance away is the RIOSUL Shopping Center with 500 stores that beckon you to come and shop. Restaurants abound in the area and whatever you palate craves, you are no more that a short walk away.
"Couple of nights.."
This hotel is A+. I couldn't have been more impressed with the friendly staff, the beautiful, renovated room with a gorgeous view and the great facilities like the roof top pool/terrace with a breathtaking view of Leme beach. The breakfast had a good variety of options, great assortment of breads and fruits. The eggs were decent too! There's a chef making omelettes and such also. The location is a short 20 minute walk from Copacabana beach and right across from Leme beach. There is a grocery store and convenience store around the corner too. The only negative comment I have is that I didn't like the food I ordered 2 nights in a row for room service. It wasn't very tasty:( so I'd suggest to go eat out.. However, overall I'd still give it a 5 star..
"Book the beach facing rooms !!"
The hotel is at a very convenient and quieter part of Copacabana beach (Leme), which is good if you don't want to mix with the crowd 24/7. It's just a short 10-15mins walk to middle of Copacabana beach where the information centre is located. The view is amazing if your room is beach facing. The rooftop pool is also very good with plenty of chairs for sunbathing. The breakfast is awesome too, with a lot of variety. The Price however is a bit expensive compare to other hotels but I have no choice due to the Olympic. Also would be nice to have slippers and hot water kettle, but that's just our personal preference.
We went to Rio for the Olympics and stayed here our entire trip. It was perfect right next to the beach about 20 mins to the metro and next to many restaurants and places to grab a drink. The staff were so friendly and helpful even the ones who could not speak English. Everyone was lovely and happy to help. The hotel itself was beautiful the pictures do not do it justice. The pool and restaurants up and downstairs are clean and serve great food and drink. The rooms are cleaned daily and they take great pride in keeping everything clean no cutting corners. I felt safe with leaving my things in the lockers in the room. Overall i would stay here again in a heartbeat.
