"Excellent hotel, and installations"
I loved the structure of the hotel with little buildings with 4 rooms each and a pool for every few buildings. The installations are great you can fish, play tennis, swim and a lot more. Very clean rooms with all the amenities and great value for the money. It's pretty close to the falls. The food at the restaurant didn't have that many choices.
Lovely resort. Great restaurant, tons of pool areas, well situated with tons to do around it. A great place to stay while going to the Iguaçu falls. Some maintenance to the specific room I stayed in would be appropriate.
"Not even a 3 star standard "
While the staff especially concierge were great....some of the facilities was not up to standard in the rooms. E.g no irons in the rooms, the doors would not close, we ended up changing rooms and finding issues with the doors and calling someone to fix it late at night for the other rooms.
"Ambient of luxury. Limited services. Stupidly high prices."
The ambient, furniture, rooms, all the physic structure of the hotel is great. You feel special. But when you try some services, like ordering food at the swimming pool... disappointment. Everything takes like one hour for a sandwich, and the cost is like R$35 for a chesse burguer (about 12 dollars). A lunch meal at the restaurant costs R$75 (about 20 dollars) and a soda R$11 (3,5 dollars). The food at the restaurant is pretty good looking and smells delicious, but the taste is under the tasty line. In my opinion these points count for a bad experience. Anyway, the ambient and the breakfast (champagne for breakfast! What do you say') can balance things. Put everything on an account and decide. I give 4 stars.
"Beautiful location but mprovements needed"
We stayed here for two nights as a family group to visit the amazing falls. We arrived in the evening and coming up the drive with all the Christmas lights and decorations was quite wonderful. The rooms were clean and of a good size and the beds were comfortable. The resort was let down by a number of small things that were quite annoying, such as not enough towels provided, long waits for taxi's and staff lacking training in their job. Management need to invest more in customer service and skill training to really make this a five star experience
