The resort is very very large and peaceful. Room is big enough and clean. There're several swimming pools inside the resort. The location's great, just a few walks to the restaurants, bars, convenient stores. Staff are friendly too. Been there twice and both times were enjoyable.
Whoever manages Woodlands Resort has hit the nail right on its head!Excellent. From the time we arrived to check out everything was excellent. We stayed here last year and were very impressed and again this year nothing has changed. Pleasant reception area with welcoming staff with a good command of English. There are two decent sized swimming pools-one at the front which looks newer with pool adjoining rooms and the standard rooms at the back of the hotel with another smaller pool, but the rooms were comfortable and clean all with pool views. We both enjoyed the breakfast as even though the hotel was full it was open between 6-30am to 10-30am so it was never too packed.Very attentive staff and an excellent choice of food. Our room was clean and modern with standard bathroom but more than adequate. The hotel is located in Naklua which is about a 15-20 minute baht bus ride to Walking Street Pattaya but there are ample restaurants and shops outside the hotel and also the very nice La Baguette cafe which sold milkshakes, coffee and cakes which is part of the hotel. Just like to say Well Done to the Woodlands Resort Management Team and of course all the staff who are doing a wonderful job.
"Nice located hotel, but!!"
Very nice hotel in a good location away from the noisy streets. Rooms are good and kept very clean. Breakfast is okay (3 out of 5) but not more. Unfortunately too many Russians and even worth many Germans who dont understand that the sunbeds are for everybody at the hotel. Several Germans covered the sunbeds with towels from 6:30am and then the sunbeds were emty until noon where the germans finally came to the pool area. Even we asked the hotel management to do something about it, then the germans didnt change their behaveour. really sad to see how middle age people didnt understand that they are not the only guests at the hotel.
"Comfortable cozy place"
We stayed at deluxe room of Woodlands hotel and resort. Breakfast was delicious and plenty options to eat. Pool was great. Room service good. Workers all friendly and helpful. Only diss appointment was wifi speed. Definitely will stay here again if i go Pattaya some day. Also location is convenient.
"Nice and quiet hotel at a great location"
We stayed for 2 weeks in a deluxe terrace room Positive: -A beautiful hotel with a high standard -Nice room -Great staff -A great pool area with entertaining squirrels -A great quiet area, Close to the baht buses, super markeds, bar and restaurants Negative: -We had to wait 4 hours in the library for our room to get ready even though we told our expected time of arrival when booking the hotel, this was a terrible blow for us after a 12 hour long flight -When we ordered the hotel we could not figure out if there was any direct sun on our terrace, and then it turned out it wasn't, and for those who is planning on booking a deluxe pool room, there is no direct sun on those neither. (This was in december) -The ACs are really noisy, and there are tons of them right outside the bedroom doors, so bring your earplugs. -The beds are very hard, we both woke up with painful backs every morning. -The breakfast was no more than OK, not the kind of food we were used to for breakfast and they often ran out of things. -The spa and pool bar was expensive, you can get everything WAY cheaper, and in our opinion better, outside the hotel. The lounge was never open during our stay for some reason. -The pool temperature was a bit low -The pool bar kept playing this one small playlist for the entire two weeks we stayed there. The music was fine, but after a while it gets a bit too much.
