"Good, but with some caveats"
For a more comprehensive review, this will be separated into Good / Bad sections, as below: Very Good / Good: Localization - the hotel is right on Corso Buenos Aires, one of the Milan's main shopping and business areas. Just at the front of the hotel you can also find Porta Venezia Metro station, with easy access to basically all Milan's metropolitan area. Milan's Linate Airport is at an easy twenty minutes’ car drive. Breakfast - the Breakfast offered at Uovo Di Colombo restaurant is very good and superior to other hotels in similar categories, with a selection of Italian and International fares as well gluten-free pastries. Lobby & Common Areas Ambiance: it appears that the Hotel lobby and common areas were recently renewed, with an elegant feeling and ambiance if compared to hotels of a similar category. Service: Polite and efficient staff, always available to help and with some good indications about nearby restaurants and attractions. Minibar: Differently from other similar hotels, Cristoforo Colombo offers some free refreshments at the minibar (two bottles of water, soda and beer). Not so great / Bad: Bedroom furniture: Seems that some floors were updated but stayed at an older chamber. Although not a major problem per se or sufficient to spoil your stay, some bedroom furniture is showing tread and wear signs. The hotel should look to a general renewal of all its rooms in the nearby future Shower space: The shower space is scarce even for European standards. A mere 60x60 cabin which is uncomfortable for longer showers. Summary: A good hotel in a very nice area of Milan, but look for the remodeled suites - your stay will be much more pleasant.
"3rd time in Hotel"
Good location, staff and breakfast. Wifi is ok. It is 3rd visit to this hotel. Previous visits were no problem. This time our bathroom was very, very very small and the shower cabin 60*60 is not good decision for the hotels. My worst shower experience ever. I'm normal man with no exceed weights and it was big problem for me. Ask this while check in. All other matters is ok.
"Very nice and lovely 😊 "
One night only in the hotel with a group of young people but it was a very nice experience. First of all the staff was very kind, they were very helpful even we arrived before the check in time, so they stored our bags until we came back from our tour. The rooms are clean and lovely. The breakfast is very good too plenty of thing to choose. A hotel to remember.
"The best place to be. At the heart of Milan."
Nice and clean place to come and stay. Its close in city center of Milan. Its at Corso Buenos Aires #3. All the stuff are so friendly also the Manger his from the Philippines. His really a lovely man to get to know.
"Enjoyable stay. "
Just got home from weekend at this hotel and would definitely stay there again. The staff were welcoming (giving my gf a rose on arrival) and extremely helpful and polite. The hotel well situated having the metro on your doorstep. We had free wifi and mini bar aswell. The only negatives on with our stay was the hotel having trucks at the hotel at 4am not sure if it was due to catering or laundry' But it was loud and woke us. Also the bathroom needed modernising as it was very old fashioned which let the room down as everything in there was nice. Apart from those things it was a enjoyable and would recommend it to others planning a stay in milan.
