This hotel was located in a very hectic traffic area. We drove our rental car and got stuck a few miles away in a crazy traffic bottleneck. Our GPS was leading us around in circles trying to find the fastest way to the hotel. There is a roundabout, and a Walmart nearby, and we wound up having to do weird U-turns to get to the hotel. The hotel itself was very quiet--didn't see a whole lot of guests walking around. Hallways empty. We did love the indoor pool/gym area in the basement. We tried driving to the nearby mall in the evening and wound up getting lost & having to pay toll. So the next night we took the hotel shuttle to the Multiplaza. However upon trying to return, we were edged out by other hotel guests (since the shuttle only seats 7), so we were forced to wait another 1 hour at the mall until the shuttle returned again. Not convenient since we had a flight to catch later that night. The toilet was making a leaking sound all night.
"Very good hotel"
Nice room, with good beds, decent airconditioning, clean and modern bathroom. The breakfast was very good. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The gym and swimming pool were well maintained. There is a shuttle service to a few local malls, however we had to take a cab back as the free shuttle service does not drive often (avoid using dollars due to unreasonable conversion rate). Upon our departure, the staff in the restaurant did not provide the correct change (incorrect conversion rate), but the staff at reception were so helpful as to solve this issue. Would definately recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay in this area.
Its a excellent hotel to stay in a business trip, my experience in this hotel has beatiful. The food in the restaurant has good. The pool and the gim have big place to state. The hotel is recommended to stay in a trip
"Very Good Hotel in Escazu"
The Wyndham Garden San Jose Escazu is located just off of Hwy.27, not far from the Hwy.105 interchange, in Escazu—an upscale area of Greater San Jose. The hotel shuttle from SJO International Airport cost us $35 for our family of 5. The ride took a little over 25 minutes. The hotel itself is modern, with clean architectural lines and a marble-tiled lobby. The front desk staff was professional and friendly. Both of the employees at the desk the night we checked in spoke English well. Our room was modern and well appointed. All of the standard amenities, crisply presented. The beds were comfortable, everything worked as it should, the water pressure and temperature in the shower was great and we were not disturbed by noise from the hallway or any of the surrounding rooms. Breakfast was excellent. Buffet-style, with a great combination of Costa Rican items, along with standard Western dishes and a nice variety of fruit and fruit juices. The Gallo Pinto (a traditional Costa Rican dish of rice and black beans) was a favorite of our group. Eating on the outdoor patio was a nice way to start the day. All in all, our stay at the Wyndham Garden was a pleasant one, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area.
"Very good place"
Is a good place, well located and nice bed to sleep all night long. Breakfast could be better and have more options for people who doesn't est gallo pinto. Service and people is very nice and they're very reachable if any problem.
