Guests simply have to pass under the Walt Disney World sign to find the resort nestled amongst the Bonnet Creeks. Walt Disney World surrounds the hotel on three sides. Restaurants can be found in Downtown Disney, and bars and nightclubs can be found on Pleasure Island, each just around a 5-minute drive away. The centre of Lake Buena Vista is also just a few minutes away by car. The shops at the Orlando Premium Outlet are a 10-minute drive away, and Orlando itself is a 25-minute drive away.
Really enjoyed the grounds. All the different pools and places to eat within small walking distance was really great. The only negative...I would have like to have a microwave in the room, without having to ask for it in advance. We really enjoyed our stay and we will be back for our next travels.Comment of F. amazing amenities! the lake boardwalk was a real treat to walk and the lake has Koe fish! it was special that the property gives permission for all guest from time share and hotel guest to share all the pool areas.Comment of F. Marjory , United States the 2016-06-17
Perfect stay at a beautiful resort. I chose this hotel over the Disney World Resorts mainly because of the price. I got a great deal for our four night stay. The hotel was very clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds. Very polite staff. They gave my daughter a complimentary dessert trio and a personalized birthday card which made her feel so special! The amenities are endless. 24 hr room service, five different pools on site, lazy rivers, free shuttles to Disney World daily. Staying at this hotel also allowed us stay at Disney during the extra magic hours. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this hotel. I'd stay here every single time I'm in OrlandoComment of B. "My first experience on this hotel"

"Great family vacation in orlando"
Great hotel and property. Only complaint is there was no microwave in the room. Pools were awesome!
"Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek"
Goof (not typo) points: >When booking this hotel buyer beware for comparison to other properties. Although the $20 resort fee is noted as not included in the rate, the daily $25 charge for parking your car is NOT noted as NOT included in the rate. In Amenities you will see that they have parking, but it doesn't note that they charge for it. When you're comparing room rates property to property, you need to take this additional fee consideration. After we stayed here, I went looking back at the bookings for this property and if you delve down into room details, you will see a $25 charge for parking, but this is going for detail most of us don't look at so from my perspective this information is basically 'hidden' and not advertised. >The rooms do not mute sounds from either the hallway or your noisy next door neighbor who snores loud enough that it's like he's in your room. For the pricey-ness of this property I would have expected more. >My husband had the feeling that every good turn deserves a tip! No pressure there! >The happy hours at the bars are nice but yes you should eat somewhere else unless you have deep pockets. The restaurant prices exceed Disney. That should give you a hint. >The spa prices are over the top too. If you have a spa in your hometown, use it. The prices here will knock your socks off! Good points: >The property itself is very pretty with a lagoon out back that had lights about it at night. This feature is nice and relaxing and somewhat romantic. >The pool area is nicely laid out. >You feel safe walking about on the property at night. >There's a fairly good sized exercise room, though not large by comparison to the hotel. However I did not encounter many people in the exercise room. >The staff is very helpful or tries to be. Do not expect the hotel staff to know anything about the other buildings at the Wyndham complex. Apparently there is a timeshare here too. So the restaurants and bars at these other buildings, while all considered Wyndham are not familiar to the hotel staff. I asked three groupings of hotel staff and no one could help me. Finally the last person went to ask someone else and came back to give me directions. So one out of three was concerned with customer service. The others are chatting with each other and you have to interrupt them to get their attention, that you the customer actually may need something. >The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. >Valet has the option to call down for your car. Do it. The property is huge, there could be ten people in front of you when you go to get your car. That's almost an hour to get your car. So plan your outings. Question: Would I stay here again' Not likely.
"Slimy tub/nonstop running commode"
After six hours of travel the check in clerk 'lost our reservation' after being corrected by guest relations all she had to say was 'Well they should have checked in yesterday.' The bathroom had a black fuzz on the grout. Upon entering into the room the toilet was running & only got louder with each use. If you are on a budget DON'T STAY HERE. You are charged taxes, fees, Parking, daily. & the complimentary breakfast buffet our family was handed a bill for a hundred dollars. We were approached about staying here as a "special promotion" if we were willing to attend the condo presentation. High pressure sales tactics & review at the end which is nothing more than another salesman trying to sell you. The in hotel ticket sales were in no way discounted & the prices insulting. We found theme park tickets being sould out of souvenir shop 80% cheaper. The entire draw about staying here is the three pools & two lazy rivers. Heated Towels are handed out & the hot tubs are all adapted for disability which is impressive. There is a pirate cove, children's area with water slide. Cabanas that sell inflatables, swim attire, anything you could possibly need. I purchased floats for my toddlers & they had a compressor to save me the hassle. We budgeted 1k after paying for the hotel room in advance. Meals are not cheap. Buy children's meals (for adults in your party as well.) they are sizable as are appetizers if you want to eat next to the pool. Another cost savor, bars aplenty, keep spirits in your beach bag & replenish from the fridge in the room. Local grocery, don't purchase anything out of the hotel stores. Walgreens/CVS aplenty near this location. Spirits within, ludicrous pricing.
"Short Stay on the Hotel Side"
This property includes both a hotel and time-share condos. When you make a reservation, make certain you understand which property you are booking. As an example, I knew I was booking for the hotel property, but I was told I could use the time-share amenities, including the lazy rivers and pools. But when I checked in, I was told I could only use the hotel amenities. That meant no lazy rivers and a limited choice of pools. I was also unable to participate in the time-share side daily activities. Despite this minor problem, the hotel was a wonderful place to stay. I had a large, clean room with a great mattress. Plenty of storage space, a small fridge, and large bath enhanced my stay. The grounds have lovely landscaping and the hot tub was a treat at the end of long days of walking. On the down side, make certain you understand all of the fees to stay at the hotel side. Parking was about $21 a day with tax. The resort fee was about $24 a day. Daily occupancy and state taxes added about $25 to each day, for more than $70 in additional daily fees and taxes. The location is convenient to Interstate 4, all of the Disney Theme Parks, and Disney Springs. I might or might not stay here in the future, depending on the needs of my travel group and our budget.
