Guests simply have to pass under the Walt Disney World sign to find the resort nestled amongst the Bonnet Creeks. Walt Disney World surrounds the hotel on three sides. Restaurants can be found in Downtown Disney, and bars and nightclubs can be found on Pleasure Island, each just around a 5-minute drive away. The centre of Lake Buena Vista is also just a few minutes away by car. The shops at the Orlando Premium Outlet are a 10-minute drive away, and Orlando itself is a 25-minute drive away.
Really enjoyed the grounds. All the different pools and places to eat within small walking distance was really great. The only negative...I would have like to have a microwave in the room, without having to ask for it in advance. We really enjoyed our stay and we will be back for our next travels.Comment of F. amazing amenities! the lake boardwalk was a real treat to walk and the lake has Koe fish! it was special that the property gives permission for all guest from time share and hotel guest to share all the pool areas.Comment of F. Marjory , United States the 2016-06-17
Perfect stay at a beautiful resort. I chose this hotel over the Disney World Resorts mainly because of the price. I got a great deal for our four night stay. The hotel was very clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds. Very polite staff. They gave my daughter a complimentary dessert trio and a personalized birthday card which made her feel so special! The amenities are endless. 24 hr room service, five different pools on site, lazy rivers, free shuttles to Disney World daily. Staying at this hotel also allowed us stay at Disney during the extra magic hours. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this hotel. I'd stay here every single time I'm in OrlandoComment of B. This property is beautiful. Totally enjoyed our "apartment" here, loved having washer/ dryer and full kitchen! Fantastic for kiddos. They loved the pools and mini golf. David, at the restaurant, was a fantastic server. Great food and great drinks.
"Quite nice family-friendly resort close to Disney"
This large resort hotel is part of a cluster of condos/timeshare/hotel buildings around a small lake in close proximity to the Disney parks and hotels. So if Disney is your destination, this hotel is a viable (and slightly more affordable) alternative to the overpriced Disney resorts. The hotel is quite nice and probably what you'd expect from the Wyndham brand. Solid and reliable, but nothing to really get excited about. All staff I interacted with were welcoming and friendly, and the room was average in terms of layout, furnishings and cleanliness. Since I was here on business, I did not get the opportunity to try their resort facilities (pool, gym, etc.) - but it all looked, well, average and in line what other large family-oriented resorts offer.
"Great all around"
We found this hotel 3 years ago when we started eating at their restaurant Deep Blu (great place). Then we started using their spa also great service. So this year we were able to spring for a couple nights in the hotel and we had absolutely no complaints. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely be coming back. The hotel also sent us a bottle of wine and gave an amazing dessert sampler, my wife had mentioned it was out anniversary during booking. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay great. As far as amenities they also have free shuttles (on a timed schedule to Disney parks and and Disney springs. They also have paid shuttle service to Universal as well as other attractions. We used Uber most of the time it was very affordable and convenient. Enjoy!
I arranged 10 rooms for 3 nights for a small group. Our group had issues starting from making reservations (not offered room rate, told no group with that name etc) to checking in, wrong info regarding shuttles to parks (was told it's continuous...it's not. They will drop you off but will not bring you back, poor staff knowledge of our group and the worst wifi service I have ever experienced.
"Bait and switch"
Stayed there for a quick weekend vacation. The price was decent but on arrival I was informed I had to pay extra for immenites. The extra charges were half the room cost. I could have stayed at almost any Disney property for the cost and had access to there transportation and restaurants. I feel like this bait and switch since I couldn't cancel and the staff just said sorry that's the way it is
