My husband and I stayed at this hotel for my birthday and we were not disappointed! Hotel was centrally located and you could walk pretty much everywhere (though Ubers were readily and available and inexpensive!). For my birthday, they gave me a nice birthday dessert! The rooms were cleaned everyday and house shoes and water was always provided in the evening. The only downfall was that there was no iron in the room, we had to get our clothes ironed everyday by staff if we wanted it but it was complimentary. Also, there weren't many channels on TV but we were rarely in the room. Our package included daily breakfast which was OK but after a few days of the same thing, it got underwhelming. Staff was always super friendly and helpful! Beautiful bathrooms and lounge areas in hotel
"Not so great..."
I always find it fascinating to compare hotel stays. Recently I stayed in a hotel in Durban - and it was magical. Attentive, customer oriented service. Friendly staff. However - my stay so far in the 15 on Orange has all the service qualities of a low budget motel. Want coffee: wait. Want your bill: wait. Promises made: don't bother. If the hotel was busy, I'd understand it. But this level of inattentiveness I haven't experienced in a long time. It pains me to say that they contribute to irritation by ignoring the small stuff. Luckily CT has many other places to stay.
What a breath of fresh hotel air! One of the most enjoyable stays we have ever had. The hotel is very well situated, central in Cape Town, and very modern and beautifully decorated. Service, including a parking service, the best I have ever been offered. The rooms are big and spacious and bathrooms breathtaking! Restaurant in hotel of a very high standard, modern and food very good. Buffet breakfast at R 255 maybe a little high'' Overall: very good!!
"Central neat location"
I stayed a week in this quiet hotel located in the heart of Cape Town. It is very convenient to walk to museums and stroll down long street which as located just around the corner. I wasn't thrilled about the breakfast buffet...
"Luxurious - almost"
Stayed four nights in June 2017. Distinct modern luxurious hotel in the centre of Cape Town. About 120 bedrooms, so a big but not large hotel. The road outside was quite busy during the rush hour but no noise penetration into the hotel. You can get a bedroom with a view of Cape Town or Table Mountain – ask for the Table Mountain view if you can. Avoid the rooms overlooking the central atrium. Very large spacious bedroom with opulent furnishings. The shower/bath complex was likewise very well appointed. The hotel team were professional, friendly and efficient. Breakfast was served to a high standard. Close to the Company’s Garden and North Street. However, I would rate the hotel as a four star rather than a five star establishment. They are doing well but not quite top notch in the international hotel premier league.
