"Excellent Apartment Wonderful Service"
It was our 2nd time staying at Alanda Club Marbella. We had a great time there. The people at the reception & Reservations were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay. What was nice our apartment had underground parking with a lift direct to our apartment my wife found this very good as she has a blue badge Some evenings they have entertainment after dinner; the cost is reasonable in comparison to some other restaurants Nikki Beach is also a ten-minute walk away which is ideal and the hotel itself has many swimming pools. Including one indoor heated pool. A welcome pack with water, tea etc was included as a nice extra. Very clean and within easy reach to all amenities. The rooms were spacious and clean with great views we had sun all day on the balcony The cleaners we very nice Beds made each day, and towels changed each day. The beds were changed every 3 days and a very good clean of the whole apartment. Beach was a short walk away. We will be returning here for November as it was so enjoyable and the service was second to none!
"Excellent service, great for large family"
We had a fantastic 3-bedroom penthouse apt in the Almeria building for two weeks in July for our family of 6 (kids age 10, 12, 15, 17.) The apartment was of high standard and included all ameneties (dishwasher, washing machine, oven, stovetop and microwave.) We prepared several simple dinners during our stay; functional dining area and living room in apt. The two whirlpool bathtubs were tested and approved by the kids. Housekeeping serviced the room every three days with fresh towels/sheets. We opted for the 7-day breakfast package at the hotel restaurant for 63€ pp - excellent breakfast buffet, both warm and cold food. We also ate at the restaurant La Despensa on several occasions; a la carte dining on the evening with the in-house magic show (great for kids 12 and under) and the grill buffet with music from the 50s and 60s. Buffet was a bit pricey, but food was excellent. Pools were lovely, pool towels can be checked out and exchanges in for fresh ones during the stay. There is an in-house squash court - was fun! Tennis can be played at a hotel nearby. In-house gym with 2 treadmills, one rowing machine, one stationary bike and 2 step-machines. Staff were professional and helpful during our entire stay. "Yes"-people all the way! Reception helped with booking an excursion and a rental car for 3 days. Free parking in underground garage with elevator access to apt. Easy access to bus in to Marbella (bus 220 along the A-7, takes about 25-30 min to get into Old Town.) Taxi to Marbella takes about 10-12 min and costs 20-25€ and to Puerto Banus about 20 min and costs approx 25-28€. Maximum number of persons in taxi is 4 (though a driver told us that this will change from 2018 and large minibus taxis will be able to trnasport more than four people.) Commercial area with large supermarket, cafes/restaurants/hair salon only a 5 minute walk (on the other side if A-7 and to the left past the taxi area.) The beach is a 5 minute walk, sunbeds coast about between 5-6€ depending on where on the beach. Public toilets close by. Shallow a good ways out, but waves as well. We found it to be windier at the beach and slightly rocky. Premium wifi available at extra cost, only one device at a time can use it. We were able to stream from Netflix via MacBook. Very warmly recommend staying at Alanda Club Marbella!!
"Stay for large wedding group"
We stayed here for a week in July with approx 40 people staying for a wedding in a different location. The week was fantastic catering for all ages including a number of 20 somethings who may have been a little too happy. Alanda looked after us and the apartments and service were excellent.
"Wonderful Service, Excellent Apartment"
We stayed as a group of 3 in one of their superior one bed apartments. All of the staff were so accommodating and friendly and whilst the location may be a €30 taxi drive away from Peurto Banus, i prefer this as the hotel is a nice quiet escape away from the tourist hustle and bustle The food is good although more choice for vegetarians would be nice and some evenings a week they have entertainment after dinner; the cost is reasonable in comparison to some other restaurants Nikki Beach is also a ten minute walk away which is ideal and the hotel itself has many swimming pools. The room was spotless and not outdated by any means. They provided a nice welcome pack including tea, coffee and biscuits and also washing tablets for the washing machine and other cleaning apparatus I would definitely return here for a stay, it was very enjoyable and the service was second to none!
"Great Place to stay"
We have just come back from the Allanda Club Marbella and had a fabulous time here. We stayed in the Granada apartment block. The apartment was serviced everyday just as a hotel room would be but with all the benefits of a large, modern room. Lounge area with tv, dining room, two large bedrooms with an suite and another bathroom in the hallway area. The balcony was ample with a table and six chairs. The hotel and apartments are spotlessly clean and I consider myself very fussy. We had two evening meals in the hotel outside seating area/bar. However we were not impressed with the service. Slow, and mixed up meals and drinks even though it wasn't busy. The hotel has some entertainment on, flamenco one night, singer another, however as there Is not much to do in the area I think the hotel could make a lot more of their entertainment to pull more customers in and make the place feel more friendly with some atmosphere. Nikki beach is fabulous and expensive so if you have a spare basic £800 to spend For the day then it's a must and lunch is amazing. We sunbathed at The Beach House just a little walk from the apartments (follow the signs). A great day 8 euros for a bed and you get service to your lounger so no need to stand at the bar !!! If you decide to stay for lunch you need to book as it gets very busy. We had meals here in the evening too (you need to book this also) good entertainment and meals a bit overpriced but good food and lovely location There are a couple of restaurants opposite the hotel/apartments. We ate at Elvira fab food, suckling pig and Châteaubriand and for breakfast we went to Divino the staff here are fabulous , they also do great evening meals pizza, Caesar salad, average prices and they make a fabulous Gin & Tonic. Divino is popular with the ex pats. So all in all the area is nice, it's clean you don't see cockroaches mosquitoes the odd lizard we had one in our room !!!. However I would say the only reason I would not go back to this resort is because there is not much to do. There is no promenade to walk around of an evening there is nothing really to do, it's quiet. We didn't hire a car but you do need one, we spent a few evenings in Puerto Banus, very busy but great restaurants, nice to walk around and great people watching. I think this area is best suited to people with very young children who want to just play in the pool and eat locally or at their apartments. It feels safe and for this reason ticks all the boxes. I don't think this area is suitable for people with teenage children (we took two 17 year olds) unless of course your sending them Off for the Nikki Beach experience !!!!
