"Best Resort Close to Old Town (adults)"
When researching Marbella I was a little frustrated with the accommodation options. We wanted to be close enough to Old Town (not in Puerto Banus or other areas of Costa del Sol) but at the same time, I prefer upscale accommodations. Overall I felt Amare satisfied the bulk of our requirements. It has been recently renovated and the rooms feel modern and new, the hotel is beachfront with a small pool area (we didn’t use the pool though). There is a rooftop bar but it was so windy we did not bother staying to enjoy a drink. Pros: For accommodations in Marbella close to Old Town most upscale accommodations you are going to get Walking distance to Old Town Recently renovated with modern rooms and amenities Nice spa facilities Lobby has a small store to pick up drinks and snacks Pool level has a nice bar area Cons: 10-15 min taxi ride from Puerto Banus area Breakfast (if included in rate) is average at best
"Adults only Amare Marbella Beach Hotel"
We had a great long weekend at the end of October. It was wonderful to eat breakfast on the terrace outside, listen to the waves of ocean in room and walk in Marbella and beach. This hotel a perfect place to take it easy. Amare Marbella Beach Hotel is a fabulous hotel. Location is the best - It is next to old town Marbella and on the beach. Everything is according to to a very good four-star hotel: service, breakfast, room, bed and pool etc. You can walk to the old town and on the beach. There is a very good walking street from Marbella to Puerto Banus. Pool is very nice. We have found our hotel in Marbella: Amare Marbella Beach Hotel. It is easy to recommend it.
"Third time visit and again superb "
My wife and I have just finished our one week stay at the Amare, it’s the third time we have been and again it was A1! The staff are all personable and well trained. The food is fresh and delicious. The rooms and bed are comfortable, lovely pool area and spa and the hotel is well placed for the beach and old town. 10/10.
"Short winter sun break"
We were upgraded on arrival to a lateral sea view and balcony for 15 euros per night (I thought I had booked this initialy') There are noise through walls problems ,a volume limiter on the TV's would help and asking guests to respect neighbouring rooms (as in Premier Inns throughout the U.K.). We loved our stay at the hotel,it was comfortable and spotlessly clean a massive credit nd thanks to the housekeeping staff. On a last note we were checking out and were asked if we had used the mini-bar to this we answered one still water, the receptionist lady with long black hair rang the housekeeper to get this verified!!!! I found this rather insulting to be honest and also to the fact that she had completed our invoice and five minutes later our driver arrived and gave our name to her she did not have a clue who we were even though we were sat three meters away! So overall a lovely stay but they need to sort some niggles out.
My wife and I spent four nights at Amare Beach Resort Hotel. Everything at this beach hotel exceeded our expectations. The service and hotel staff attitude was impeccable. The room had a large balcony with a view of both the ocean and the mountains. Room servie food was really good. The swimming pool and beach was accessible and very well kept. The room rates were surprisingly low for a hotel of this caliber. We would definitely return to this hotel on our next trip to Marbella. Mr and Mrs Sabbak
