"Terrific resort... highly recommend it!"
We stayed for 4 nights... the Amari has outstanding service, a superb selection of food and drink (and a great kids menu). The General Manager takes time to talk to each one of the guests (much appreciated...) It is one of the best balanced resorts we have visited.... We are definitely coming back.
"Lovely setting, great spa offering, but RFI"
Spacious room and lovely view. Hotel is in a very lovely setting. The spa was great and they have really relaxing options. The staff are also generally really lovely. There is private beach access (not a private beach) with access to local boats who will take you to different islands for a fee. However, the food is dissappointing; the rooms/facilities generally need a facelift/upgrade; the pool is very small and even though there is a kids pool, it's still full of small children and most importantly, the location is a long way out - so despite the boats if you want to go to town (or even most of the islands via boat) it's a long way and fairly inconvenient. All in all, we enjoyed our time, but expensive for what you get/what it is.
"Amari Vogue. The best hotel"
What an amazing little boutique hotel and conning to the end of our holiday on reflection this was the best hotel of the 4 we stayed in, although there was nothing weong with the others. Clean, friendly and very welcoming with the small touch of the manager welcoming is at arrival. Staff were very attentive, hospitable and informative about local places. What a place to see the sunset as again probably the best on holiday. If you don't want to eat at the hotel, head for the beach, take a left adv at approx 300 metres you'll find a lovely little local seafood restaurant that provides excellent food. One weird of warning the hotel is approx 20 mins from Ao Nang and it will set you back c300 bhat (£7) each way for a taxi.
The staff is great and always happy. We were on honeymoon and this hotel is perfect for this. Peace and tranquility ... With special attention and care of the guests. I would especially recommend for couples.
"Warmth of Service is King of Hospitality "
Fabulous Service. Superb Staff. Rest Relax and Rejuvenate are the three R's that really define this place. Although a bit away from the main Aao Nang beach but it is well connected by way of Shuttle Service from the Hotel and Taxis. The rooms are well appointed but for the elderly would suggest rooms on the Lower levels. The landscape is designed in such a way that the hotel gradually steps down to the beach. The beach is pristine exclusive and clean. The Lotus restaurant in the hotel is among the many other options available and serves excellent Vegetarian as well as Non-vegetarian fare. The staff and the chef in the restaurant ensure that your palletes and choices are well taken care of. Look out for Peach one of the stewardess in the restaurant whose warmth and smile just blow you away. Patrice who is the GM of the hotel personally meets and greets the residents on a daily basis. You might note the word resident instead of guests as that is deliberate to highlight the kind of comfort you feel here. The service is excellent at the same time unobtrusive, making you wonder sometimes where and when do the stewards appear when you think of them. Superb experience which I had curtailed some days in Bangkok to extend my stay here. Amari Vogue best of luck for your bright future ...Cheers!!
