Room and meals were excellent. The only possible improvement would be an extra mirror in the bedroom for dressing and the bathroom mirror to be directly behind the vanity and under the mirror. Wir wählten das Hotel aufgrund des guten Preises (Standardzimmer mit Frühstück, 60¤ pro Nacht, November, 1 Tag vor Anreise gebucht) im Gegensatz zu anderen Hotels im vergleichbaren Segment. Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und sauber. Bett bequem und in einwandfreiem Zustand. Die Angestellten sind sogar noch etwas freundlicher, höflicher und zuvorkommender als in anderen Hotels. Das Frühstück beinhaltet quantitativ fast alles, was das Herz begehrt, könnte qualitativ jedoch etwas besser sein - ist dennoch wirklich gut. An der Straße vor dem Hotel befindet sich zudem eine sehr leckere Garküche. Schön ist auch die Skybar mit bequemen sowie reichlich vorhandenen Sitzmöglichkeiten, ähnlich einer Lounge. Preise für Cocktails ~6-7¤. [Großer Unterschied zu der überfüllten und von Touristen überlaufenen Skybar des Lebua Towers (bekannt aus Hangover 2), bei der es im Außenbereich nur für Gäste des Restaurants Sitzmöglichkeiten gibt und ein Cocktail ~20¤ kostet.)] Alternativ gibt es natürlich noch andere schöne Skybars, die ich jederzeit dem Lebua Tower vorziehen würde. La habitaciones son muy amplias, cómodas y cuentan con un práctico balcón. La ubicación del hotel permite poder llegar a pie a las zonas de Silom y al mercado de Patpong. Muy cercano al skytrain que comunica con los centros comerciales y el Chao Phraya.Comment of V. Diego , Spain the 2014-08-05
"My first choice"
It was the first hotel I stayed at for my 3 weeks tour of south east asia, and from the front door I knew I had made the right choice. I had some issues with the taxi driver and the doorman helped to sort it all out. I booked all my tours via the tour desk at the hotel and they set the bar high for the rest of my trip. She got me the best deal to see everything important while in Bangkok. The rooftop bar is excellent, the staff super attentive and its a decent location. If you want to try local food try the parking lot restaurant the locals eat at right near the hotel entrance.

Room is big & helpful staff Easy to call taxi & taxi driver is quite familiar with this area which quite helpful to go to anywhere or return back to hotel But some facilities may be enhanced the maintenance service which look a little bit deteriorate & the consumable product like toothpaste & tooth-bush is better to provide.
The hotel is very value for money. With the same money you spend, you cannot find a better hotel then this. We stayed in a two bedroom suite. The suite is big and clean, very cozy. Highly recommended!
We had a great experience during our stay. The staff was very friendly and we truly felt at home when we came back at the end of the day. Room was very clean and with plenty of space, but the most amazing part for us was the breakfast buffet.
"Not met Expectation"
I stayed between 17th May to 19th May based on lot of positive review in trip advisor and brand name of Anantara. Frankly speaking it doesn't meet the expectation even 70% of 4 Star Property value. After hectic journey from Pattaya I enter inside hotel with lot of expectation, Check-in Process itself almost took 30-40 minutes due only 2 counters are open for check in. Only 3 guests are there , but some reason they took 30 minutes to make my turn, after highlighting they opened the other counter for check in process. I thought it will be smooth after that, I asked them my package offer Room Upgrade to next category they highlighted as Rooms are not available we can only upgrade to higher floor instead of spacious room upgrade. If you want Room upgrade need to pay additional 1500++ bhat. I highlighted my Package offer, they refused to listen my request after tired of arguments. Kannika (Who is manager) told me people have different expectation but we can give only what we can offer not what you expect and asked me to write whatever I feel in Tripadvisor. I decided to stop argument there and given security deposit of my Credit Card and leave to Room as on that day evening I booked dinner cruise as already lost most of time in Check-in. After returning from Cruise, I saw message stating that Manager want to speak with you regarding the request but it was too late about 11.30 PM, I don't want continue any discussion and slept. Next day also I had tight schedule didn't get time to meet the manager. Apart from this experience Breakfast is good for Non Vegetarian and very less choices for Vegetarian and less asia touch. Also need some more professionalism in Breakfast Service, somewhat they are bit restless during service. Sky Bar lounge is closed during my stay as some private function so I couldn't avail the facility. 2nd Floor restaurant serves very good Pizza and food variety even though highly priced. During my holiday I stayed in Novotel Polenchit, Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya I felt Anantara doesn't meet even 50% of those. Beyond People mentality need to change lot towards Service Sector of Hotel Industry, need lot more training and patience along with Speedy check-in process. Other facility like swimming pool, Sauna, Steam bath are available but didn't get time to use it. In precise I am not happy with Ananatara Sathron Standard which I had in my mind. I have very mixed feeling of service and hospitality. Beware traffic is hectic on this hotel route most of time better to stay inside City if you really tourist.
