"Lovely holiday !!"
Lovely hotel our room (6834) had a strip view, the bed was huge just what you need after a day in the sun no touching your partner!! Our housekeeper was lovely and couldn't do enough for us (wish I had got her name) a real credit to the hotel. BLT steak was lovely 😃😃😃 indigo lounge happy hour good value! Pool area was great and just what you needed on a hot day. Can't wait to return 😃😃 we saw 2 shows that were on at Ballys solid gold soul and the bronx wanderers both good and would recommend !!
We stayed in the Indigo Tower, and it was very dated. The furniture looks like it is from the 70's/80's at best. The carpet is filthy. The beds were uncomfortable. They put us on a "dog floor." We found out by seeing and hearing them. We smelled pot on our floor. Don't stay here. Pay more money and go elsewhere.
"Nice quiet room in a noisy hotel"
So our room in the Jubilee tower was nice (Large, quiet, partial view of the Belagio fountains, two refrigerators, and a very comfortable bed. It was a good room. Then there was everything else. Check in was a mess, 30 minutes lines, broken machines to auto check in. Music blaring over the slots at all time, at all locations in the hotel (I know this is common to all strip hotels, but why' I was not there to gamble, I was playing bridge in a tournament. I found the blaring noise to be one of the worse hotel experiences I have ever had, and I have many. But everyone else seemed to like it. My answer is not to ever return to Las Vegas. On more specific hotel grip, we were promised that parking would be included when we booked the room, but then Bally's decided to charge $10 a day, no recourse. Second grip was the wifi internet was expensive $14 a day, and lousy. I am somewhat convinced that it has nefarious bugs lurking since my phone crashed (stopped receiving emails, everytime I tried to use it. Thus after day 2 I stopped using the hotel wifi. Then my phone got better. Basis review point. I am not a Casino person, many other are. My major grip is that I was in the middle of a Casino, in a hotel that was designed to fleece me. Not a place I like.
The room was slightly below average as far as hotel rooms go. Caesar's properties is now charging $15 per day for a refrigerator even if you have insulin to keep cold. Kind of discriminates against people with diabetes. They are also no longer waiving Resort Fees for Platinum members, so essentially there is no benefit to being platinum any more. The maid service was good and the poker room staff were very nice. The front desk clerk was clearly unhappy being there and it reflected in her customer service when we checked in. Bottom line: this is NOT a 5 star hotel, but charge resort fees higher than anywhere on the strip, tend to nickel and dime every chance they get (it's the Caesar's Entertainment Way). This is a budget hotel and should charge accordingly.
Bally' was a great place to stay. I like how you can walk to the other casinos and activities from there pretty easily. Unfortunately it was very hot do to a heat wave in June, so we didn't get to go the pool .
