"Average room and service"
The Hotel is located by the sea, but it is not a good beach. The building is huge, but not all the rooms are nice. Upon arrival I changed three rooms until I got a better one. The first one was dilapidated and depressing, the second one was by the noisy pool. Finally I got an upper floor room. The included breakfast was average by Brazilian standards, but the variety was large enough to find something appealing.Service is another matter, staff in some shifts was terrible and staff in other shifts was ok.
"First visit to Sao Luis...there will be more!"
Very enjoyable, with a great ocean view from our good room with a balcony. Our arrival was in the middle of the night (3 a.m.) from Sao Paulo, so our first impressions were in the wee hours. Good breakfast, nice pool and sauna. Within walking distance of some good restaurants (one with live music - "Rock and Ribs"), others easily reached by bus or taxi. Great place from which to explore this historic city, UNESCO Patrimony of Humanity. Will be back...grateful for the welcome given to us coming from Bolivia. Sorry that we couldn't stay for the Carnaval festivities of that weekend.
"Very friendly staff - poor breakfast - good room"
The hotel is located near the sea. The beach is awful, don't bother going there. The city's historical center is far from the hotel. Not much choice to eat nearby. The rooms are ok, hot shower is good, TV system is NET. Get a room far from the pool. Breakfast is poor, food choice in the room service and in the restaurant is equally poor. Overall, the hotel is OK for the price they charge you.
The hotell was nice on the outsid and the reception. But the room was not the best. I was her only one night so it was ok for me but i wud not had å vacation in this hotel. The food in the restaurant was not the best, but ok.
"A nice choice at US$ 50-60 per day"
A nice choice at US$ 50-60 per day. Location is fine, there's a small pool with a bar where people use do meet, play and drink, a reduced fitness set with 3 equipments. Breakfast is fine, don't forget to taste tapiocas, black coffee, cuscuz and local fruit juices. The room is new, comfortable, silent, the bathroom is fine too. The first room they take US had a bad smelling (like it was closed for a long time). We asked for a new room and the attendant promptly gave us another key, for a nicier room.
