"Nice lunch with friends "
Visited the resort just for lunch at Sangkar restaurant. Beautiful setting for a nice lunch with friends. Although quite pricey, this resort is about luxury and the service is outstanding. They are very thorough with guests just entering the premises, which we felt was within reason for this caliber of resort.
"We escaped to paradise"
After staying in Bali for a week and a half we ended up in our final resort in Jimbaran Bay and the minute we got there were disappointed. I instantly got food poisoning and we thought we were staying at the best hotel in the area. My husband found an escape route to Bulgari and we were blown away on all levels. The views are gorgeous! They have a Michelin star at their main restaurant and the food actually surpassed expectations--their chef is truly extraordinary. They have a small private beach which is beautiful and private with gorgeous views--just no swimming here as there is a lot of rock and coral. We swam at a nearby beach club that the hotel drove us to. The most unique thing that the Bulgari had is some do the most incredible service and staff that we have encountered. We had a butler assigned to us named Roni (spp') who truly made our stay the most easeful and enjoyable and assisted us so much and with such an incredibly positive attitude. I would stay here again just because of him and his exceptional service. Every aspect of this resort is beautiful and comfortable. It's a dream.
"Best time in Bali"
Despite some other good hotels and resorts in Bali, we chose Bvlgari. We were wondering what Bvlgari could offer us. It is pricey in some ways. No regrets... Seriously... It's once in a life time experience.
"Three days of bliss"
My partner and I spent three nights here and it was wonderful. While the property is now 11 years old, the villas are being renovated and ours feels brand new. Service is top notch. We had several great meals at the Sangkar restaurant (the prawns are to die for) and one fantastic dinner at Il Ristorante, which is now helmed by Luca Fantin, who also runs a one-Michelin-star establishment in Ginza, Tokyo. The location is a little remote so getting out is a bit of a pain; Seminyak is about 1+ hour away by car and Ubud, about 2.5 hours -- not the best choice if you are intending to paint the town red. But on the flip side, it's perched on a cliff on the southernmost edge of Bali, which means cooler temperatures from the sea breeze. Our favourite spot is the private beach, reachable only by funicular, 150m below the resort. Because so few guests visit -- we saw four come and go during the two hours we were there -- you really feel like the place is all yours.
"The Ultimate luxuy in Bali"
This is the most luxurious Hotel you can stay in in Bali after touring other major Hotels. The rooms are very luxurious and comfortable, with all amenities, Bulgari soaps, toto automated toilets, huge Jacuzzi, outdoor shower, edge pool, B&O systems etc... Service is impeccable. The hotel pool is a dream. The hotel grounds are very nicely landscaped with old trees and walkways like a historical village and the hotel is big. The only one thing that should be improved is the food and restaurants. The food is good but not impressive . Moreover, the restaurants don't have nice indoor setting especially the main restaurant and breakfast area.
