We stayed in this Hotel for one night. The only flip side of this hotel was the check in took a lot of time for our group. We had arrived after a long flight and the front desk took almost 30 minutes to give us our room keys. Apart from this the hotel is at a very good location and serves very good breakfast.
It is a good compromise to be in sao paulo in a nice area..rooms are not so big but clean qnd with all available The break fast is ok, nice fresh fruit and kitchen available Swimming pool is not useful being too small Service is good and gentle
"Good standard, good location"
Good: The location seems to be safe and a good neighborhood. There was a recreation park within walking distance. Breakfast was good, not luxurious but also nothing substantial missing. Room was very nice, with balcony and nice view over the (huge) city. Ok'ish: The lunch buffet is delicious, but make sure you get there early enough. They don't replenish towards the end. Could be improved: The check-in procedure was a bit 'heavy lifting'. Why do they charge the full rate at check-in' Getting the final invoice straight became sort of a hassle then.
"This is by far a two star hotel!"
Lousy service from the valet, complete lack of attention at the front desk, poor breakfast, shady cleanliness, and crappy acoustics!! When I arrived at the hotel, the valet did not bother to look at the car ... I called him to ask if I needed to get a ticket or something, no response, he continued on his cell phone. I tried again and then with a sigh of frustration, he said no, I only needed to give him my room number. While this was taking place, my suitcase (which I removed from the car myself) disappeared ... the hotel receptionist took my luggage without notification, without saying a “Hello" or welcoming me to the place which would be the expected procedure. At check-in, they requested my identification 2 separate times, they asked my CPF 3 separate times, although they already had my documents in front of them. They said there was a "problem in the system" - I spent 15 minutes trying to check-in ... The room was small, there is no place to hang a towel in the bathroom, the hairdryer is inside a small bag with a shuffled chord (a good 10 minutes of fun trying to untangle) and the acoustics are terrible. I was clearly hearing the TV in the next room until 01:00 am - when I asked the reception desk to deal with the problem ... 30 minutes later someone took action. At 05:50 in the morning I heard the shower from the apartment above... that night I managed to sleep for 2 hours. I left the hotel around 10:30 a.m. and returned at 7:30 p.m. - I see the apartment door open and the housekeeping staff cleaning the room - did they not have the time during the 8 hours I was away' Incidentally, the housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired ... they only changed the towels. At breakfast, the staff was huddled in a corner complaining about life to each other, the cheese bread would certainly serve as a door stop … I had to ask someone to bring milk and coffee since it was not available ... the fresh cakes are straight out of the box, breads were dry, the breakfast buffet had seen much better days and it was only 9am, the fruit and cold cuts were clearly from a few days ago. After a long day, I arrived at the hotel around 00:30am and once again, the valet was very busy on his cell phone ... I waited for him to take the car to the garage … Since there was absolutely no movement on his part, I called him and he replied “you can leave it there "- leave it there ''' For real'' I would not leave my car until he took it to the parking lot, then I noticed him roll his eyes indicating I had disturbed him … The reception desk looked like a party ... people humming, clearly not bothered by the presence of a guest. At check-out, there were 12 people in the hall .. I believe they were conducting job interviews ... but at the reception desk'' Booking.com rates the Clarion Faria Lima Hotel as a 5 star hotel, but with this extremely poor service and impoverished infrastructure, I believe it does not even come close to two stars. I certainly do not recommend this hotel, and for $ 375 a night, you will surely find MUCH better options in the area!
"Excellent location and comfortable room"
This hotel had a great location in a cool neighborhood. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was quite large and "American style," so it was very comfortable. The breakfast was convenient and had a wide variety.
