"3rd visit and will be back again!"
This was my wife's and my third visit to Point Yamu, bringing some of friends along this time. Service level was impeccable, all the way from check in, to the restaurants staffs and the butler who diligently served us during our stay at one of the villas for 3 nights. Even thought this was our 3rd trip, the view remains breathtaking, especially the main pool. The place wasn't crowded (or don't feel crowded). We visited the Beach Club, while the weather was too hot to our liking, it is a nice little getaway from the main resort itself.
"Would love to stay"
We stayed in a villa at Yamu Point Como. The villa had 3 large en suite with a kitchen, 2 living rooms, 2 extra toilets, and a swimming pool. The master bedroom was located at the basement and two others were opposite to one another so 3 couples can still maintain their privacy. The price includes juice, soft drinks, water, beer, snacks and a huge fruit plate. The fridge will be replenished every day. Out in the main building is the Thai restaurant, Cafe/Italian restaurant/cafeteria, and a bar. And on the 4th floor is the Shambala spa which includes steam, sauna, fitness room, a secluded small swimming pool, yoga room, and the whole spa experience. I know there are other facilities, but I didn't have the time to explore. The only complaint I could think of is the spotty transport service, especially at night. Once, we waited over 10 mins for someone to take us back to the villa. If. It not too dark, it is possible to walk back which takes 5 mins but there is a steep pathway and very dim light so it is not recommended to venture back and forth in the dark. The other time was when they forgot the replenish our fridge and skipped our tea time snack. After countless attempt to contact our butler who was suppose to be on duty, we settled to contact the front desk to refill our drinks. I will consider coming back. I believe many of these errors are not intentional and that they'll be quick to remedy the situation.
"Paradise in Phuket"
After I was disappoint with the Hilton. I decided to spend my time in the Como to recover my holiday back from the bad experience I have gotten from Hilton and it was a great decision !!! The como is fully of the service mind staffs. The view is stunning!!! It is very amazing view from the hotel itself and specially on my pool suite... It is so nice to relax here and get recharged from the hard work... I can't find anything to complain about this place! I am highly recommend this hotel to other travelers ...
Our stay at COMO Point Yamu was simply superlative! We loved the peaceful yet dramatic location, our stunning suite with its stunning pool and stunning view, the incredibly warm and accommodating staff, the inspired yet edgy design, and the barrage of upgrades and treats handed out to us for our anniversary. It isn't cheap, but it was well worth the money! We just wished that the food offerings were a bit more diverse, less gourmet-oriented, and consequentially, not underwhelming.
We stayed 4 nights at the resort (3 adults & 2 kids). Took 2 connecting rooms. The views were breathtaking. The main building is only 5 stories high but designed with long corridors and curves. It's like a maze. Amenities modern and clean. Service throughout the resort were excellent, the staff are ever so polite and always smiling, typical Thai hospitality at it's best. Surprisingly food at both the restaurants, NAHMYAA and LA SIRENA, were delicious. The Shambhala spa is spacious and clean . Massage not bad. My kids ( aged 7 & 3 ) loved the Kids Club. Different activities every day, both indoor and outdoor, such as t-shirt painting, kite flying and Kids Thai kickboxing. We had so much fun on the resort itself,we didn't even go to their Beach Club on a private island. Great job COMO. Point Yamu is worth every cent. Amazing resort !!!
