Conrad London St. James sits on the doorstep of Westminster, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, boasting not only a prime location but also chic design and intuitive service.Set in the heart of the city and just steps from the most iconic London sites, Conrad London St. James offers a smart choice for a modern-day traveller. St James' Park station is positioned just opposite the hotel and offers a convenient way to get around the city.
The Conrad is a Hilton property. First try AARP,AAA or Government Rates, possible to get good rates. We are Gold members and because of this, I believe we received comp. full breakfast.(a great breakfast) Check and ask. The Hotel has a great location, across the street is the St James Tube station(about 300 feet), perfect. Our check in was very early, but the staff had a room available, great!. Very nice room, good size, very nicely appointed and laid out. Our specific room did not have any view, but so what, it was bright and clean and comfortable. Be advised, our room had electric night window shades, look for the switch near the night stand or ask room service for directions. Our room service lady(housekeeping) was just wonderful, we would see her each morning and she was so charming and made our stay perfect. We felt like friends, she was so much fun to talk too. All the other staff were also very friendly and accommodating. One morning we left the hotel and it just started to drizzle, the door man gave us umbrellas. The hotel has an adjacent restaurant, The Blue Boar, very nice, convenient, pub like place, very popular with locals, good for late arrivals in need of sustenance. Not a 5 star luxury hotel(more close to 4 star) but so what, this is a great place, up to date, great rooms, great staff, great location, get a good price and you can't go wrong. If no breakfast included there are several places near by (i.e." Pret a manger" round the corner, a French take on Starbucks, plus). Also, so many really nice restaurants nearby, within 5 or 10 minute walk. For the Pub minded individual, there are at least a half dozen great pubs within a few minutes walk from the hotel, one, The Feathers Pub, is right next door. Overall, we will absolutely stay at this hotel again.
"5 star luxury"
We stayed for 3 nights at the wonderful Conrad Hotel St James to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary after completing a group tour of the both the Eastern Europe and the UK & Ireland. We were pleasantly suprised to receive a bottle of champagne and chocolates to celebrate. This hotel is worth every cent. From the moment the cab pulled up and the friendly doorman welcomed us right through to all staff we had contact with we found everyone to be friendly but also very professional. You can tell staff go through a very in depth customer training course as all perform their duties to a very high level. Over the last 4 weeks we have stayed at quite a lot of hotels and this hotel would have to be our number one. We stayed in a Executive King One Bedroom - room 331 which gave us access to the executive club. Breakfast was fresh and provided a good range to start our day, We did not try the afternoon tea but did see the scones and sandwiches and all looked good. We had canopies and drinks in the evening and again these were fresh and yummy. Our room was large, clean and modern. We had a lounge area with study nook and large powder room downstairs and a bedroom and bathroom with large wardrobe upstairs. This room was extremely quite which made for a good nights sleep. Across the road is access to St James tube if needed. We were able to walk most places from this hotel including the West End, Hyde Park, Big Ben, London Eye and Oxford street. I would love to have stayed longer than 3 nights and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. If we get back to London this would be our choice again. Big thanks to all staff at the Conrad St James.

"Luxury, Great Location"
While on the expensive side, this was an absolutely wonderful hotel, from the decor to the bedding to the service and food. The room was a beautiful, spacious escape from the days of exploring and touring!
"Amazing stay "
We stayed at the hotel for four nights and were thoroughly impressed with the service and facilities. From the warm welcome on arrival through to the excellent breakfast served in the restaurant the experience was superb , they even prepared a perfectly cooked congee for my wife who really appreciated this touch. The executive lounge is also very good with a selection of canapés served to the table as well as a great selection of cold cuts . Overall a perfect stay and we will definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning .
