Je recommande cet hotel dont le service, la propreté et la situation géographique sont, pour un prix très raisonnable, de très bonne qualité!!Comment of F. Nicolas , France the 2013-11-14
"Girls Weekend "
6 of us booked this hotel last minute for a weekend visit. The staff were friendly and welcoming. This hotel is in a great location for visiting the city centre sites of Prague. All are within walking distance. The rooms are clean and well equipped. Food at breakfast offered a great selection. We would use this hotel again on a return visit.
"Two day visit to Prague"
The location is ideal for the centre of town so you can walk to the main old town areas. There are many restaurants in the area to choose from. Hotel rooms medium sized with good facilities clean and tidy. I was on the 5th floor which was quiet and obviously the rooms are air conditioned.
"Good and bad bits"
the room and staff were lovely and hot showers and rooms clean. Sadly the cooked breakfast was dreadful - I was disappointed as the only time I have a cooked breakfast was on holiday. You had to queue to get a freshly cooked omelette or fried egg and my fried eggs were cooked well but just before serving the girl put more oil on the hot plate so they were served swimming in tepid oil - Yuk. I was able to fill up on fruit, rolls etc but the awful cooking at breakfast put us off of trying the evening meal so we choose to eat out.
We hadn't booked the Grandior but there was a problem with our room in another hotel and they arranged for us to spend one night here. Our room was clean and comfortable but didn't have a very good view, however, it was very quiet so ideal for light sleepers. The bathroom was clean and there was a bath with a shower over it. The bath tub was quite high which could have made getting in and out tricky for anyone who isn't very agile. The towels were very small in comparison with other hotels I have stayed in but the shower gel and soap were good quality. The breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit, vegetables, cereals, etc - even sparkling wine! There is a piano player as well which is a nice touch. I can't eat gluten so I asked for gluten free bread and was told it would be brought to me but it didn't arrive! The location is fairly near the old town and river.
"Great Hotel with a Stellar Breakfast!"
I stayed at this hotel last week and was thoroughly impressed top-to-bottom. The real star of the show is the breakfast. A sprawling buffet, in a classy setting that never felt over-crowded. The location was good, but not exactly close walking distance to the major sights. I guess it just depends on whom you are traveling with to determine what "walking distance" is. Positives: - Great Free Wifi - Never had to wait for an elevator! - Sprawling generous breakfast Negative: - Questionable walking distance from major sights. - When checking in, we were early (12P-1P) and pretty much dismissed (though politely). We were told to leave our bags and come back at check-in time. I didn't mind being sent away, but we should have been able to complete paperwork to allow for seamless check-in later on. Instead, when we arrived later (and more guests were around) we had to wait a little and fill out all our paperwork. I feel it would have been much more efficient to let us complete the forms before formal check-in.
