"Keep up the good work"
Location of hotel is a stone's throw from many attractions n food. Also close to internation convention center where our company's event was held. Hotel mood and setting is very nice and comfortable. Rooms clean and cosy.
"No Value for Mpney"
Overall experience was ok but wouldn't stay here again , will pay higher if need be and stay where you get all services included and no hidden costs.. like breakfast not included. Extras for parking. Food and most Staff Service was good..
"Renovated but poor service "
The Hyatt is like most newly renovated hotels. No more bath tub. Only shower. Bathroom so small you can hardly dry yourself. But these guys take environmentally friendly to a new level. You want your sheets changed after a few days' You need to call them. But wait, they don’t actually change them! Just make it up as usual. Terrible service and so disappointing it is something you expect from a lessor brand hotel. Perhaps look elsewhere or make they the do as they promise.
"Still some work to do"
My first stay at the Hyatt Regency since it has changed name from Four Points Sheraton. Renovated rooms are fine, and I have always liked the location. A couple of points for consideration - I went to breakfast and service was poor. I was there 45 minutes and could not get tea or coffee. Staff did well at avoiding eye contact. Customers were finding the pots and helping themselves, but most pots were empty. Short of chasing a staff member, I went without. On leaving there were 24 people waiting at the counter to get a table. Well under staffed all round. The lifts were also an issue. Swipe the guest card but the floor light would go out. Saw lots of people "riding" the lifts to hope to get out at their floor confused about why it did not stop. At checkout the staff did not have detail of my breakfast billing, so I told them and they made the charge - that was over an hour after I left the restaurant. Some work to do Hyatt!! I will go back, but hopefully you take on board the comments
From the young lady who checked us in to check out the hotel was amazing. The views were spectacular and the rooms immaculate. The ferry from Darling Harbour to Circular Quay is a cheap harbour cruise. China Town, Darling Harbour, Star City all within walking distance and QVB a short walk. What a fantastic location. It was my birthday and the young lady at reception sent a little surprise to my room - very touching and considerate. Breakfast - wow. First class all the way - thank you everyone for a brilliant stay.
