"The Classy Stay"
I am here on a business trip. It started off badly as the reception mistaken that the booking made by my company. My company had booked for 1 room each for my female colleague and I, but the hotel insisted that it was one room. After 15 minutes of waiting, the reception said that the booking was not clear but they provided us with 2 rooms eventually. I checked with my company booking personnel and saw that the email was actually made very clear for 2 rooms. Anyway, we got our rooms. The rooms were classy and I loved the facilities provided by the hotel, especially the gym (commercial gym standard) and the changing room which included a Jacuzzi and saunas. The bathroom of our hotel room had a flaw, which was the floor. There were black metal plates that kept peeling off the floor and they were very annoying as they kept getting stuck to my feet. I also enjoyed the breakfast buffet spread as it offered a wide variety of cuisine for breakfast standard. I was a bit disappointed that the business centre closed at 10pm, which did not allow me the flexibility to work, but I guess the operating hours are quite common across all hotels. Would personally prefer the hours to be longer. The location of the hotel is strategic as it was smacked right at city centre and pretty close to the nearest BTS station. The bag keepers were great as they allowed me to keep my bags for a few more hours even after checkout. Also, I was able to use the hotel common showers and changing room despite after my checkout. Despite some flaws here and there, overall, the hotel's customer service was amazing and I really enjoyed my stay. Would love to come back again.
"Well located and service oriented"
We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Erawan for 10 nights. It is well located in the main shopping area of Bangkok and is within easy walking distance to BTS sky train stations. Housekeeping staff did an excellent job every day. Regency club staff was attentive and friendly. The food and liquor offerings in the Regency Club was not as good as the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong or Grand Hyatt Singapore but it was adequate. The lobby is impressive but the rooms need a refresh as they look dated.
"The best Breakfast"
It has the said most famous breakfast. Always hard to decide what should I put on the plate. There are so many choices... they even have fried rice and noodles! The setting has been just renovated. Looks at the pictures....the breakfast buffet ：p must drink the first juicy and leave space for fruit. If u start at 10:00, actually u can skip your lunch.
"Perfect Location, Perfect in Everything"
I always love this hotel. From the location (undoubtedly the best in Bangkok) to the room to the Spa/Fitness Centre. They renovated the rooms a couple of years back, still good in condition. I like the deco, Thai yet functional. I love the tiles in the bathroom, it infused charm into the deco, though some of the tiles start to fade in colours. The Fitness Cetre and Spa is very good. Truly Hyatt. Spacious and well maintained. The hotel is connected to the mall next door (Erawan), and also a linked bridge to Amarin Mall and the BTS (Train network). Though the hotel is not cheap, but you get what you paid for. Truly Hyatt.
"Excellant hotel to stay"
My wife and I stayed 4 days 3 nights at Grand Hyatt Erawan BKK last week. It was excellent - friendly and smiling staff from the moment we step in the hotel, check in @ lounge, and keep seeing it throughout the stay. Special thanks to Ms Mon from Executive Lounge, who attended us during check-in (warmth welcome and a pretty smile) and specially arrange the champagne and chocolate as honeymoon gifts for us.
