"Can't wait to return."
We began traveling 17 years ago, and never went to the same place twice until now! We came to the resort for a week last February, and had a wonderful time. We traveled with family and friends, and there were no negatives whatsoever. It was very much a pleasant surprise when booking this year's trip that our travel agent said that the property had openings. We are counting down the days! It will be nice to see Emilio, who took care of us like we were family. Antonio, who did the same, and didn't get upset with all of the questions that we asked. This year will be family, with a member who has not yet traveled, and I am very happy that he will be able to start his traveling journey at what I think is first class all the way. See everyone in February!
"It's an ok hotel."
This hotel is at a nice spot. Good food at the japinese resturaunt (I liked the miso soup). Amazing beaches with good waves. Water park for little children. Infinity pool looking over the beach is a really nice spot. Buffet is ok but not amazing. People who work there are nice. There are good drinks and nice bars. Hotel rooms are ok but not amazing.
"Amazing amount of restautants!"
We have been to Cancun three times and enjoyed our stay at Parnassus, Our kids enjoyed all the activities for kids and ourselves. The Parnassus has a waterpark just for kids in the front of the hotel.
"Family stay in paradise."
This is one of the best family hotels anyone can book. If you have children look no further because the entertainment is fantastic and the location is perfect and very safe. The all inclusive worked well for us and we liked our room. The flight with BA wasn't great but we the hotel was so good that we would do it again.
"A difficult time to start. Probably won't return "
This hotel firstly is now called Sea Dust. It's located more towards the bottom end quieter part of the strip and caters for more the Mexican guest than the British. In all area. First night we arrived we were given room 130 which overlooks the current and ongoing building works of a new addition the already hotel next door. Constantly banging of hammer drills and crane drills the earth moves with every bang and can be heard and felt within 200 meters of this hotel. There is actually work ongoing in the hotel also by means of upgrading the upper floors and rooms, grinders and hammers most of the day can be heard. We asked to mow room immediately but was told no chance, completely full and absolutely no rooms available, i didn't believe and said I would stand in reception all night if I had to. After an hour we had a chap called oscar come up. He was the hotel night manager and relocated us there and then to the 2nd floor over looking the other side of the hotel. A lot more quite and no building site. We were happy so we went to bed finally. The following day we walked through reception and was greeted by the hotel main manager and I had to have my beef with him from the night before. He apologised and upgraded us to an ocean front room with jacuzzi on the balcony which was great, he could see I was very annoying, but had every right we paid a lot of money for a sea view to start with. The food isn't great but it's ok. Breakfast is the best part and you have the option to have it delivered to the room every day but with limited choice. The pools are clean nice and very spacious and make a cool place to hang out, only if no building noise. The kids pool is great and the slides are cool. My boy 4 loved it there. The evening restaurants are ok. Big Ben is by far the best bit get ready to tip every visit. The Italian one is awful, stay clear. The only other one we tried was manhattan and they got our order wrong first time Over 3 meals on the table. The lobby is quiet and not much happens there, Shane really, some nice big comfy chairs or something would make a huge difference. Playing some music would also help. Not like other hotels we have stayed at on the strip, this one unfortunately was the most boring with ref to the lobby area and vibe throughout. There is an adult only pool, I used once which was nice and clean with a bar etc. Evening entertainment is ok, All In Spanish and aimed at that crowd so British people do have a difficult time. There are a few people who made the holiday a much better time and they are Wileberto and Armando from breakfast Alexandra and dianne from the check in at meal time in the main buffet Tommy and Emma from the entertainment team These folks stood out among other good people. Also the cleaners are polite and nice and don't stop cleaning and sweeping and need to be recognised for their value The timeshare staff get you asap just ignore as they do tend to keep pushing Our shower and jacuzzi Did not work wholly, i.e. All the fancy jets and light etc so it was just a shower and a bath tub in the end but we did have a free upgrade so I guess it's ok' I wouldn't have paid knowing this! This hotel is absolutely huge with over 1200 rooms, serval restaurants and bars, 5 pools and 3/4 shops, it does take a patient person to walk all day from one area to another and can be time consuming especially when the lifts don't work for 3 days. Get it sorted! The beach area needs attention, a lot of rubbish and fag ends everywhere by the sun beds which is t very nice. This is an honest review and I believe it could be a better place/hotel if these points were sorted. Thanks for a reasonable time, good holiday but I don't think we would return as I know there is better for the same budget. To noisy Lies on first night reg room, upsetting us Lots of walking from one end to the other to get from kids pools to restaurants No vibe at the lobby, I believe lobby's are great places to hang out so it needs attention Mr James Family of 3 and one on the way
