"Very good location, nice personell, mediocre rooms."
Hotel in general was located perfectly, close to Markthall and public communication. Lack of parking is understandable in Rotterdam. What is hard to understand are small rooms with 1980s style bathrooms faulty AC and no bottled water in 4* hotel room. You can buy bottle paying extra 2 Euro at the reception.

The hotel was in a prime location. The cost of the hotel was very reasonable considering where it is situated. Rooms were very tidy and clean. Breakfast was same price on site as pre ordering. This was very useful if you were unsure to have breakfast or not. Staff were very helpful and were always on hand if needed.

The breakfast was great with various choice. The hotel agreed to give me late check-out at 13:00. It's close to Rotterdam Blaak Station, which is a main station. Therefore, transportation is convenient.
"Hotel very interessant"
This hotel is very well situated in the town ( near the Old port and the Markthal ), there is no problem of parking. The street is very calm and the hotel. The personnel is kind and attentive. The breakfast excellent and very large. It's a very good adress.
I booked a standard room for 2 nights - there was no information regarding the "location" of the room. I come upstairs in an old and slow elevator to discover that my room is right next to the elevator, not near, not in front, right next to it -see the picture I took. When I asked to chage rooms I am informed that all standard rooms are next to the elevator-which is not mentioned when doing the booking..... I finally agreed to upgrade room (PAYING for this change of course), in order to get a room that is not next to the elevator. I paid for 1 room, upgrate for 2 nights. The superior room, was to my opinion quite standard. It has a bath that is quite difficult to enter if you have short legs like me. To complete this "nice" stay....when I go downstair early in the morning to check out ( I needed to attend a meeting) the not so nice lady in the recepcion tells me with I need to pay again for the upgrade. I tried to make her understand that it was already paid,but having to leave I pay again (requesting of course an invoice of everything paid). When she gives me the invoice I can see, two charges, both identical ...and on both the concept is upgrade room and the Quantity 2. This makes a total of 4 upgrades...for 1 room that i stood at only 2 nights.
