"A taste of luxury with a reasonable price!"
We stayed here for 1 night and absolutely love the hotel's facilities and service! Hotel Rooms have that classy european vibe! The hotel staffs are very nice and accommodating from the concierge to housekeeping and front office, specially the manager's on duty, Miko and Wallace. GSA Exor, Jennie and Quincy are very friendly and suggested tourist's destinations and local restaurants to us. I love the smile of Garlie who assisted us for checkout, she is so sweet. We will absolutely stay here again. Thank you and kudos for the excellent service! We'll definitely recommend your hotel to our family and friends.
"A Very Nice Hotel"
Harbourview is a very nice hotel. We didn't encounter any major problem from arrival to departure. There was only a minor issue during check-in but no big deal. Apparently, there was just a miscommunication or misunderstanding with our reservation because we booked a package that included breakfast but upon check-in, it appeared that our booking didn't include breakfast. However, it was resolved immediately. The hotel also didn't have foreign currency exchange which, I believe, is a must in a hotel esp. in Macau, but we were informed that forex is available at the casino. There was also no shuttle service to & from the airport but there's one to & from the ferry terminal & it was quite easy to locate. However, it was a bit small/cramped so quite inconvenient if you're travelling with luggages. Anyway, it's not difficult to get a taxi in Macau and rates are reasonable so it's also a good option esp. going to & from the airport. Other than the above, I don't have further complaints. Service by the hotel's staff was great, especially by the Filipinos. They were very helpful & accommodating. The foreign staff were also nice. Even prior to travelling to Macau, we sent an email to the hotel for some questions & they responded immediately & answered all our queries well. We first stayed in another hotel for 2 nights, then went to HK for another 2 nights before returning to Macau (and staying at Harbourview) for another 2 days. We left our luggages with Harbourview's Concierge before going to HK (prior to checking-in with them) and they happily & safely kept them for free. The lobby was nice, grand, spacious, and it smelled good everywhere. The room that we got was also very nice, clean, & spacious, with complete amenities including a handyphone & complimentary bottled water. Even the toiletries were nice (L'Occitane). I also loved that the bathroom had a separate bath tub & shower room. Breakfast buffet was also good. Locationwise, it's just opposite The Sands. If you want to go to the Venetian, etc., just cross the street & walk to the other side of The Sands and the free shuttles are there. The Sands also has a mall with some restaurants so it's quite convenient if you want to eat or buy some food & stuff. Harbourview is also frequented by taxis so getting one is easy. It's just a few minutes away to several tourist attractions, as well as the ferry terminal.
"Beautiful room in a beautiful hotel! "
My wife & I have spent 2 nights at the HVH at the end of a 3 week holiday around China. This is the best hotel so far and incredibly reasonable price. The room is absolutely gorgeous and everything like brand new. The staff are very cprtious and helpful ... wake up UK hotels, you are a joke compared to those we have seen on our trip! The only slight annoyance is having to zig-zag to cross a wide wide road to get to the free busses to the Cotai Strip. A bridge or subway would be nice but not a big deal though.
"An exquisite, opulence hotel for a romantic wedding anniversary celebration stay."
This European influenced architecture hotel looks impressive inside and out. Our suite was on 7th floor, overlooking the harbour and bridge. It felt serene and luxury. We particularly liked the availability of the HDMI socket, also a hand phone we used to navigate Macau city. Please see our photos for they explained themselves. When we first arrived at the Macau harbour terminal, we failed to find the " HVH, Rocks Hotel courtesy bus" , so we caught the Sands, then walked across to HVH. It was mid morning, so we pre check-in and left our luggages with the concierge. We went to the casino nearby. We checked in at about 14.30pm, bell boy offered to deliver our luggages. We were given a voucher towards F&B, which we enjoyed our coffees at the Praha Bar on the Mezzanine Floor. We did not have dinner at the hotel, as we had arranged to meet up with friends at other venue. We noticed that staff were stationed at key areas waiting to serve hotels guests, they were evident but discrete. The Concierge was most helpful with our queries for routes, maps, transports, weather etc. We had a lovely time swimming and the jacuzzi was like a japanese onsen with "bubbles", nice and hot. We spent a long time enjoying the suite. We were spoilt for choice at the extensive breakfast buffet. We took their courtesy bus for our return journey of 5-10mins. to the harbour terminal. We can definitely recommend this hotel for it's " past grandiose romantic feel "as oppose to contemporary, special vacation.
"Worth a stay"
My partner and I stayed for a night and had a great time. Our room had a great view of the harbour and the hotel is a 2 minute walk to the harbour restaurants and casinos. Our room came with a phone that gave us discounts and promotions, we had free wi-fi and vouchers for dinner at their restaurant. Worth staying for a night even if you're on a budget.
