The Hard Rock Las Vegas is a great hotel. It's a little bit off the strip so it's a bit quieter, but still close enough to easily get to everything. Overall, I really enjoyed it.Comment of W. Eric , United States the 2015-12-29
Great memoribilia at this hotel. Good experience, loved the pink taco restaurant.Comment of H. Anita , United States the 2015-12-15
Ansonsten top!Comment of S. Johannes , Germany the 2015-10-24

"First class entertainment and quality dining options. Staff universally excellent."
Quality food options from a slice of pizza to high end steak. Multiple pool options. Center bar has a place in Vegas history and great people watching. One of the few hotels you don't need to leave for a couple of nights.
Stayed for 5 nights to experience Vegas but didn't want to be fleeced for the hotel. The facility is awesome, clean, well situated off the strip on Paradise. The room we had was very well presented and equipped but unfortunately had very noisy water works, a quick visit to the front desk and a new room later, all done very quickly no hassle. Visited one of the restaurants, Pink Taco. Great menu and surroundings but unsurprisingly a bit pricey. Top tip, if you can get just off the strip and want good food we found many great restaurants who were very reasonable, we did have a car tho as we moved on from Vegas. They do offer a shuttle service to and from the strip, it runs on the hour from 9 till 5 and returns from it 15mins after. There are taxis and Uber but I thought the shuttle should work a little later, IMHO. The casino surroundings are brilliant and offer the usual attractions. The pools were very good and have great facilities offering drinks and food as well as loungers and free towels. In summary a great experience not to missed, better value than on the strip but offering the same quality.
"Not Happy/No Compassion"
After my flight was cancelled I had to get a room for 4hrs, I checked in @ 1am & out @ 5am & they wouldn't waive the resort fee. I understand resort fees, but 4hrs for only sleep is unfair for a distressed passenger. The maid wouldn't even know the room was used as I was there for the few hours. I explained this at check in and out and they still charged me nearly $36 for the resort fee. I have no problem paying the fee, but not in a distressed passenger for such a short amount of time. The room was nice and hotel was nice, but I think this was grossly unfair given the circumstances.
"Loved this place and the experience"
Very nice environment and entertainment. Dont like the sensor vending machines they have in the rooms. Do not lift anything from the counter, you will be charged for it even if you put it back. They canceled it from my tab but still, is another hassle to deal with. Check your billing at the end of your stay very carefully as sometimes there might be sometimes some hidden charges (or "mistakes" in my case). other than that loved this place.
"Great for a short trip and Rock memorabilia"
It's difficult to find an hotel in Vegas without a Casino but that is not a problem. This hotel is off the strip - a good 1.5 mile walk to the strip if you want to. It's fine to walk in the daytime but wouldn't recommend it at night - it was very hot when I was there so took advantage of the hourly shuttle bus provided by the hotel. Taxis are always available from the Hotel but can become expensive. Be aware that it is also very close to the airport and sometimes aircraft noise could be a problem if you are sensitive to it. There are 4 swimming pools but only one is open every day and it gets very crowded - the others open on different days or are available for events and require an extra charge. The weekends are crazy with lots of people coming for the Rehab Pool party. There are some amazing and extraordinary archive pieces of Rock Memorabilia in the hotel - great to see. Lots of restaurants in the hotel and locally as well as bars and the Casino. No need to leave to Hotel if that is your thing. Get yourself the Backstage Pass from the Hotel Cage - it entitles you discounts and other benefits - all the Casinos do them but it's worth it if you are playing and eating in the Hard Rock. The rooms were clean and functional, though my bath in the Casino Towers room was too small to sit in comfortably. Safes are provided in the room too as well as an enormous TV. Static electricity was a problem, as I received a shock every time I touched a metal surface like the lift button. Vegas is a crazy place with lots to see and do and this hotel was a great base go explore the local area. The hotel staff were efficient, friendly and not too formal. If I go back to Vegas, I would certainly consider staying here again.
