"Nothing Special, But Pricy"
I stayed at this hotel as part of a conference. Although I have the Hilton app, it apparently does not work if you are a member of a group, even though I made and paid for my own reservation. I still haven't been awarded the hotel points I supposedly earned during my stay. Plan on eating elsewhere. The hotel restaurants are open restricted hours and not on the weekends, but they make up for that by being quite expensive. Even though the hotel website said the restaurant was open until 10:00, we got the bum's rush at 8:30. They even started turning the lights out. But "no hurry". All in all, just an OK experience. I'll probably look elsewhere next time I travel to Dallas.
Hilton stepped up and took care of those with travel problems as a result of hurricanes. This hotel has terrific staff, large bright rooms that are sparkling clean and outlets galore. Would happily stay there again
We booked this as a last minute staycation. To begin with, valet parking is $30. We went ahead and did it because self-parking ACROSS the street is $18. No problems with actual valet service during check-in. Room was very cold, NO microwave or refrigerator-which was an issue for us. The phone in the room didn't work so we had to go downstairs TWICE to request a microwave. We needed spoons, and when we asked the restaurant, they sent us to the front desk 🤷🏽♀️. We ended up having to ask THREE times before finally getting two plastic spoons!! The vending machine was broke 🙄. There wasn't a bath rug and the floor gets slippery 😱. The bath tub isn't cleaned well, and rust/grime kept showing up when we showered. The bed didn't have a fitted sheet, and a cheap mattress pad was supposed to offer comfort. There is a late night dining menu that is pointless because we were told the kitchen had closed at midnight. Honestly, this hotel operates like a 2-star facility. Very, very disappointing. We should have booked with Cambria. We will not return.
"Awesome Hotel. Stayed here for my wedding!"
Just realised I did not complete this review. I actually stayed here August 2015 for my wedding. I booked 2 suites I think one was a Juinior suite the other was for my Mrs and her friends. Anyway it was an amazing suite and I would highly recommend. Very spacious and had awesome furniture in there. So much that we had to have a photoshoot session there with my groomsmen. We also shot our 'first look' session at the beautiful stairwell. Ok now the staff! You know you got great hotel staff if a manager does not think twice to help with your crazy ton luggage and not missing a beat. These guys were awesome and I cannot pour enough encomiums on them. Bed awesome! Amenities Brilliant! Definitely will use again.
Restaraunt was not open, so could only eat in the bar. concierge room had poor selection of evening appetizers. Free hotel shuttle, could not be pre-booked, so when I asked the concierge to recommend a restaraunt which he did, he then radios the shuttle who told him they couldn't take any more customers that night as they were too busy, as hotel is in the middle of several major freeways there is no way to walk to Restaraunts.
