"Very Nice Surprise"
We spent one night here on our way from Germany down to the Dolomites in Italy. For a one night stay over, we weren't expecting that much, however our time at this hotel as a real pleasure. All the staff were very helpful, particularly those at the front desk and the breakfast. Our room was fairly high up in the tower, with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The room was very specious. The real treat was breakfast, which was a perk of my Hilton Honors status. It was the best of our three week trip. We were very impressed with the quality and selection, and our hostess was marvelous. The location is very close to the town center, with easy parking below the property. Innsbruck is a wonderful town, and we thoroughly enjoyed at time here.
We stayed at this hotel as a couple for 2 nights in September. We had a room on the 4th floor with 2 queen beds. Panoramic views of the town and surrounding mountains were amazing. The room and bathroom were a little tired, but very spacious. The beds were great and the TV had an English movie channel included. Room was very quiet and clean, hotel is right in the centre of town, excellent location to walk everywhere. Would recommend.
"Nice Hotel but Dinner Buffet Not So Good"
Part of our Gate 1 tour. Room was clean and comfortable. Dinner buffet as part of Gate1 tour was cold and food bland. Breakfast buffet on the other hand was good. Location was spot on to all sights. Pass on dinner buffet.
"Great Choice in Innsbruck"
I stayed for 3 nights in the second week of September. The Hilton is an easy walk from the train station and it is an easy walk to the center of town and all the main sights. I did not eat in the restaurant because there are so many restaurants within walking distance, but I did have a great breakfast every day and I did enjoy an evening in the bar having beer and working on my laptop. I did not come on a skiing trip but I was there to enjoy the sights and the city and this is a great place to stay for that. As in every Hilton I have stayed at, the staff were great and friendly and I would easily recommend this hotel.
"Central Location with all amenities"
The location is excellent with all rooms benefiting from mountain views. Car parking available in adjoining public car park. Lack of staff on reception caused queues and both times we approached the lone receptionist had to call for help - why aren't there 2 people on duty as standard' Public areas were last fashionable in the 1980s. Breakfast was expansive and high quality - worth having. Room was large and with comfortable pillows and beds, a full range of TV channels from many countries, although décor was a little dated and could do with modernisation to live up to the Hilton image. Bathroom was last updated in the 1990s, but had everything you need. Location is great in the middle of Innsbruck and only a few minutes walk from the Old Town and dozens of bars and restaurants.
