"Decent Business Class Hotel at a Good Price"
We stayed a few days at the Laghetto Allegro Pedras Altas and it was a pleasant hotel. The hotel is a few doors from the bus station which makes it an easy commute to see things around the area. The rooms were small, yet clean and modern(if a bit sterile). There were a desk and office chair, refrigerator, and small accent chair. The bed was slightly firm but still comfortable enough. The room also had a widescreen TV which was a bit small and placed too high. The bathroom was fine with all the typical business class hotel accouterments. And housekeeping did a decent job on cleaning the rooms every day. Breakfast is included with your room and it is very good and there is a wide assortment. The one bit of advice is get there early because after 9a it turns into pure chaos with food running out. Additionally, the front desk were helpful and pleasant although their English was a bit limited. They made some decent recommendations on local restaurants. The only areas where I knocked the Laghetto Pedras Altas down a total of 1 point were because the rooms were generic, the hotel had no vibe, and it was a little bit of a hike to downtown Gramado (not a big deal). Overall, I'd recommend the Hotel Lahgetto Allegro Pedras Altas as a decent business class hotel that's geared towards tourists. What made it a good value was the room rates which were cheaper than their sister hotels but with the same amenities.
"Lovely and cozy hotel"
This is a lovely, pleasant, and cozy hotel. It is near to the main avenue in the city (about a 5 minutes walk) and so very well located which lead me to choose it. The front desk personnel was helpful when needed and able to anticipate my needs. The room was quiet and cozy facing the side of the building which for me is totally ok. The room and bathroom were well cleaned everyday, nicely preserved, and equipment was working properly. The bed was really nice together with 4 pillows. There was a welcoming chocolate at the room which was a nice touch. I must say that the free wifi at my room was really bad to the point that there was no wifi but in the other hand it was very good at the lobby. Breakfast has plenty of goodies, breads, jams, cheeses, cold cuts, and drinks. Nothing really to complain about which is a thumbs up! I didn't have the chance to try the lunch but was able to have a room service which was fast, friendly and tasty. Check-out was quick as expected (check-in took a little longer). Definitely would recommend the hotel and stay here if coming back.
"A quiet place just near the best attractions of Gramado!"
A brandy new Hotel offers a quiet room nearby many good attractions like " Mini-Mundo" "Lago Negro" and many good restaurants. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is good. From the balcony you can have a view of the Valley...maybe in the autumn or winter you can taste - for free - a hot chocolate in the reception...don't forget to taste it!
