"Superior staff, good location "
Hotel Le Squara is a great, affordable hotel. Convenient access to metro(s) and the Sacre Couer, and situated in the charming neighborhood of Montmartre. The AC was cold, the rooms a decent size, and the room quiet. The real asset was the very friendly and helpful hotel staff. They were always ready with directions, recommendations, or just a pleasant query as to how you were. When I lost a therapy massage ball under our bed, an employee came up to our room to help us retrieve it, even though his shift had just ended. They really went above and beyond in terms of customer service and I’m very appreciative of their care and attention.
I choosed Hotel Le Squara for a weekend stay in Paris with my family. I made my reservation throught bookings.com after checked reviews at TripAdvisor. When i checked in a meet a nice man at the front desk and i got a room on the fifth floor. The room itself was really nice, modern, clean and a lot of space. Actually one of the most spacious and modern rooms i seen in Paris. The hotel its self is "petit" everything except the room was small, the entrance, lobby, elevator, breakfast room everything, not at all in a bad way but it was small. So if you love huge lobbys this aint the right place but if you love small charming hotel with grate rooms this is the place. Unfortunately and unexpected i checked out before even slept a minute in our bed. Me and my family demand really high level of fire security after been in a accident. It means for example double emergency exits. This hotel fulfill all regulations according to french regulations in any way but it didnt fullfill my expectations. I tell you this because the hotel solved it in a really generous way. Of course its my responsibility to pay if a decide to move. But the hotel management was really understanding and suggested that we split the cost. So my advice is to all of you with normal demanding that want a cosy small hotel located in the heart of Montparnasse, try Le Squara
"Quietest hotel in this area"
So quiet ! You wouldn't expect this is this area, as this little 4* hotel is smak near the Moulin Rouge, amidst late night restaurants. Staff is extremely friendly. Rooms are small - up to Paris standards - but fully equipped and decorated with great personality!
"Friendly little gem in the heart of Montemarte"
We stayed in the hotel about a month ago. Loved it! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful to us. When we arrived in the middle of a heatwave, we were feeling a bit bedraggled and were delighted to receive a room upgrade. The room was furnished attractively with a beautiful ensuite. It was quiet and the air conditioning worked well. The rooms aren't large but met all of our needs, and for us we weren't looking to stick around the hotel but rather explore the vibrant local neighbourhood. There are lots of bustling bars and restaurants close to the hotel and the metro stop is less than a minute or two away. This made Le Squara an ideal base for sightseeing around Paris. We live in New Zealand so unfortunately it may be a while before we return, but when we do we will definitely book accommodation here again.
"Lovely little hotel"
First off, this is Paris, so please don't expect enormous North American (aside from NYC) hotel rooms. Our room was quite small but had a very comfortable bed, great air conditioning, fast and reliable free wifi, cool lighting, dark curtains (to keep the morning light out) and was very clean. The showers were great and the bathroom was stylish and updated. Our favourite thing about this hotel though was its proximity to the wonderful neighborhood of Montmartre which is bustling with great restaurants, scenery, and vibrant people. It got a little (lot) noisy on Saturday night (well, it's right around the corner from Moulin Rouge and strip clubs, so it's going to get that crowd on a Friday or Saturday) until 6am. Otherwise, please do stay here. It's such a better and more affordable neighborhood than St. Germain or anywhere within a 1KM radius from the Seine. Stay here. You'll love it!
