It's a nice hotel in a quiet place. The Camino is crossing trough. Very wide rooms, with nice views. We stayed for one night and we thought that it's a good place for business also for relax. We had breakfast and dinner, it was ok. You will notice that the staff team it's well trained, they are very kind and helpful with everything. Five stars for a nice team!.
I had to stay one night at this hotel due to a flight cancelation. All the staff were really nice, we could stay in our rooms later than 12 p.m because we were not sure if our chater flight could fly on that day or not due to bad weather conditions at the airport of destination. The daily buffet is good and rooms are big and clean.
"Ok but not more"
The hotel has good sized rooms and a good breakfirst. So far so good. The hotel is a bit dated, it needs renovation. When we were their the internet did not work, and they had no ambition to fix it. It cost about 8 euros to take a taxi to the cathidral. It says free parking but we had to pay six euro.
"Shame about the food!!!!"
Stayed here on a Saga tour. The room as with all the other hotels was nice, clean and the beds comfortable. It was outside Santiago but there was a very pleasant walk into the City and wasn't a hard walk at all and there were plenty of pilgrims on the route which was interesting. We didn't hesitate to walk back in view of the easiness of the walk but there is a bus stop nearby. Unfortunately the food was not good. The first night everything looked good and if you don't mind cold food it might suit you. The next night they served the hot food a little later to give people time to eat their salad or soup before they started on the hot meal. It wasn't much hotter and wasn't that good either. The final night was nearly like the first night more on the cold side. The breakfast wasn't so bad. I don't eat a hot breakfast so can't comment but on the last day I had to wait around for bread as there was only sliced bread for toast and as I don't eat toast had to wait for fresh rolls to be delivered to the buffet. With regard to the evening meal it was a pity that they didn't have the coffee machine working so that people could have a tea or coffee after the meal unless they were prepared to go to the coffee bar and purchase one which we did. All the other hotels provided coffee or tea after the main evening meal but this one you had to pay for it.
Stayed here as part of a Saga tour. Room clean and well equipped. Bed comfortable. No road noise although near a main thoroughfare. Food less than adequate in fact inedible on the first night of our stay. Vegetables cold and soggy and little choice for vegetarians. Breakfast varied from day to day and was adequate if filling up with carbohydrate.
