"Puerta America Hotel"
We where very excited to see this hotel upon booking. Once we got to the hotel it was a little underwhelming and kinda weird as we stayed in some space room with a huge chandelier type thing to hit your head on right outside of the elevators. Didn't really have the opportunity to eat the breakfast so can't comment on that. We decided to get massages while at the hotel which ended up being in a random room... there is no spa or anything like that. Kinda pricey for the massage. Wouldn't recommend getting a massage here. The highlight of the hotel is the nightlife.. either the bar down stairs or the Club upstairs which is really y nice at night.
"Business Trip (4th week out of 6)"
I stayed in this hotel as a part of a longer stay in Madrid. Compared to the other hotel I used in the first 3 weeks, this was a improvement in all areas. Unfortunately I was not able to book it for the last 2 weeks of my trip. I can just recommend it. I really like the idea of having different floors with different themes. I loved the buffed breakfast. The room was really nice. I am really satisfied!
Everything was perfekt. Only the breakfast ( eggs, bacon etc. was to cold. The Skynight Bar is beautiful. The Service is perfect and very friendly. The Transfer from the Airport to the hotel and back was perfekt.
"Modern, fun & friendly hotel with excellent breakfast"
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The reception staff were friendly and attentive, the breakfast selection was varied and of high quality and the bar was relaxed and pleasant - the latter does a very good Spanish omelette. Six friends stayed here over a long weekend to see the El Classico. We chose a room on the Norman Foster floor and although the decor was was light and bright it was designed for a couple rather than friends. This is because the shower does not have a door. In hindsight, maybe we could have asked to stay on a different floor. The decor throughout is modern, quirky and fun plus the wifi was good. There are two Metro stations close by and taxis available adjacent to the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
"Innovative and entertaining"
SIlken is a hotel with a beautiful design and great service, with a bunch of different options to have a nice meal, no far from downtown (15 minutes). Rooms are very modern and with a special and creative design.
