Older hotel, outside first look was litle bit strange, not 5* as well, very good 3*, or normal 4* hotel. Near tube "metro" line. Near airport. Reception OK, food OK, choice on breakfast OK, staff OK. Cleaning OK, room OK, room shall be bigger. Safe case on room. Bath was black I feel strange ( morque) Technically complicated light and AC. Bed OK. Noise from.coridor at night 3AM on 5 th floor ( drunk people). TV missing more german chanels and some russian chanels. Generaly for us OK, but next time better in center.
Amazing hotel with great architecture. Each floor has distinct and unique architecture & interior. Guests gets a chance to select the floor they like as per the concepts. Very helpful & welcoming staff..... breakfast was reasonably good (however, as a veg Indian, we don't get much options but cant help, for others breakfast spread was quite good....... Location is also very good with a metro station nearby. Best part is the interiors...... definitely recommended.
"Unique design hotel - perfect for architecture lovers "
Incredible concept hotel with each floor designed by a different architect. This is how all hotels should be - imaginative and offering something unique. I stayed on the Ron Arad and Zaha Hadid floors which both offered different experiences. Hadid's rooms are like small igloos - like sleeping in a giant marshmallow. It was amazing to be able to experience her work in such a personal setting. Even more so now she is gone. You wouldn't explore every floor in many hotels but in this one you join other guests wandering around experiencing the hugely variant ideas and designs of each architect. It's worth changing rooms often to really get a sense of their work too. The beds in both the Zaha Hadid and Ron Arad rooms were very hard. Fine if you like that of course but be aware if you like something a little softer. Breakfast is varied but expensive at 22 euros. There was no spa which would have been even more fun if they had done something really imaginative and the hotel is not near the city centre (20 - 30 mins on the metro) but its worth staying for the experience alone. I would go back just to immerse myself in Zaha's igloos again!
I stayed here for a night in transit to the states. I was really excited to see the hotel in reality as the photos i'd seen were really interesting. I wasnt disapointex, i got to choose which floor i stayed on, as every floor is designed uniquely. The room was clean and comfortable. The counter staff were friendly and helpful. Would definately stay here again
