"Hotel great but poor restaurant experiance"
Happy with the room decore and hotel reception (though showing some signes of wear and tear), reception staff friendly and informative, also accommodating when asked to swap to a room away from the lift. However the experiance was spoilt by the restaurant, presented with two food ladened glasses (not just water marked) then we were asked to move to another table because it was a table for four not two, a policy nforcement I could understand if they were busy but there were precisely two other people in the whole place not exactly rush hour either. We left.
"Great rooftop terrace, great staff"
In a residential area with multiple restaurants within a couple blocks, only a block from the Rocafort metro stop so very easy to get around. Staff very pleasant. Nice breakfast buffet, lots of options, and one can order an omelette or eggs. Quiet and clean. Nice bath and room. We discovered that we were only a few blocks from the airport bus stop as well so on our way back to airport we just rolled our bags to the bus stop. Highly recommended.
"Fab location, fab staff & fab rooftop terrace!"
This excellent review is due to the superb concierge staff, Carolina who made our 4 day stay in Barcelona amazing! Carolina was polite, friendly and super helpful. Made great recommendations! The room had everything we wanted. The hotel breakfast was delicious. The jewel in the crown was the rooftop terrace which was great for tapas and cocktails! Would definitely stay here again! Copasetic round the corner is fantastic place for breakfast/brunch and lunch!
"Good but some details need improvement given it is a 4 stars hotel"
The rooms are perfect. However I suggest: - at breakfast, since it is a buffet, the staff should check if there are any used dishes to take away from the guests' tables. I piled up three empty dishes and nobody ever came to pick them up although only four tables were occupied yesterday morning. - also, at breakfast time, change your music because, at 8 am, listening to Albinoni's Adagio makes you sleepy at best or depressed at worst. Something more in tune with Barcelona, a modern, young, lively city, should be chosen. - spend a little money to clean up the roofs of the shanty houses one can see from the rooms on the "patio" side.
"Very nice hotel"
We spent one night in room 59 early August 2017. The hotel is very well managed, excellent staff. The room was very well looked after. Enough storage place, comfortable beds. Air conditioning keeps turning without key card, excellent when returning to your room. Breakfast is ok, omelette can be ordered. Free coffee break at the rooftop terrace from 17 to 19h. Location: about 100m to Rocafort metro station. It will be hard to find negative points about this hotel or points to improve it. Maybe the lack of a rain shower or a rooftop swimming pool. We will return when in Barcelona.
