Located near the Vatican City, the hotel is just a few minutes away from Rome’s historic centre and its many marvellous monuments and finest shops and boutiques.
"Nice clean and simple"
Not a bad place but a bit away from everything however it's nice to get to a quitter part of the city. We fond only one local restaurant and the hotel one is kinda basic. Three Italian to channels only and usual Italian breakfast. Good value though .
I've been in many hotel in my life and many country's !!! But I never had something bad like that !!!! We change 4 times the rooms the first the Ac wasn't working and they told me to pay extra to change the room what I did and the second room had a shower apart of the bathroom but with no light so we had to take a shower in the total dark and we change again the 3 room had again a problem with the AC and they change us to a room again with no AC ... all this in only 2 nights !!!!!!!!!! The rooms have patio doors so you cant open the door at night for some air because it's not safe because anyone can get on the common balcony... The staff is rude, the buffet in the morning is very basic with nothing fresh not even fruits. You feel bad to ask for a cappuccino. The area of the hotel is really not touristic and far from downtown. The rooms are not well soudproof and you can ear when the next room is flushing there toilet ..... HONESTLY THE WORST HOTEL EVER ... the only thing good about that hotel is the lobby well renovated and modern and the parking !!!! I GIVE A 2 Star for this hotel.
Stayed at this hotel for three nights with a friend. Staff were really friendly and helpful upon arrival and throughout our stay. The hotel is really modern and the reception area is really nice. There is a gym area, although we did not use this facility but it looked good. The hotel has a free shuttle bus service which you need to book as it only fits 8 people. It takes you into Piazza Cavour (about 10-15 minutes from the hotel depending on traffic) which is in walking distance from the Vatican and metro metro stations. You can also book the shuttle bus to take you back to the hotel, although the last time for pick-up is around 17:45 which isn't ideal if you are staying out. However, the bus system and metro was brilliant for getting around the city, once we had worked out the bus stops and how to buy a ticket! You have to go to a news-agent type stand to buy bus tickets or use the machines located near the bus stops. Transport only cost €1.50 for a single journey so very reasonable, especially as you can walk to different places quite easily. The hotel room was basic but clean and spacious. It was very warm in the room, I'm not sure if there was a control to put air-con on, but we just opened the window which was fine. Breakfast was good with a small selection of cereals, scrambled egg, bread, yoghurts and cakes/pastries. Juice, tea/coffee and water was also available. Overall this was a brilliant first time trip to Rome and the hotel's shuttle bus was a great help. I would recommend taking a proper map because the attractions like the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Piazza Navona are all in walking distance from each other so you don't have to get the metro or bus so much like we thought and realised on the last day! Rome is a beautiful City with so much to see. We managed to fit lots into our three days. I would also recommend booking a tour for the attractions like the Vatican and Colosseum so that you can skip the long queues and get a really informative experience.
This hotel is quite far out of the center of town, and my room was reserved for me because I had meetings nearby. The surroundings are hilly, and everything, including the nearest grocery, is a 20 minute walk from the hotel. I was not told about the shuttle, and didn't find out about it until near the end of my stay. The room itself was okay, with free wifi and all the basic amenities. I could have used a second electrical outlet, and the temperature was not controllable inside the room, but by leaving the windows open at night, I could get comfortable. I ate at the hotel restaurant twice. The pasta was good, the pizza less so. The service was reasonably good. Front desk service was fairly attentive, but lacked warmth. I did overhear one clerk treat an older couple rather rudely. Do not sit in the weird (not unattractive) modern furniture in the lobby! It is only a foot off the floor and unstable; I was not the only one of my colleagues to be dumped unceremoniously onto the lobby floor by her chair!
"Ok to sleep and have breakfast at."
The hotel was very nice the room was ok shower a little dirty but nothing some elbow grease wouldn't sort. We stayed for 2 nights and mainly used it has a place to sleep and have breakfast didn't use the gym or bar so can't review this sorry. Staff ok didn't do anything for use to think wow and on the second night we got a phone from reception at about 12.40am saying no TV somebody had complained about the noise it was only on volume 16 and we was only watching the news channel has this was about the only thing in English. We had no problems with the free shuttle from hotel to local town centre just a shame it's only available till about 5.45pm it also only fits 8 people so if you don't book with reception you might not get on. On average a taxi from this hotel to the local town was about €15 we found app Ittaxi very good could see what sort of price it was going to be they picked up your location with GPS and told you how long they will be with live updates very good.
