"Friendliest staff !"
I was on a business trip, visiting ADNEC exhibition center. Although there are more than one hotels surrounding ADNEC exhibition center, Hyatt stands out with its unique architecture, its proximity to the exhibition and most importantly its helpful and friendly staff. Transportation to and from airport was professionaly arranged, the reception staff were very welcoming and the room was comfy and spacious. The breakfast buffet caters for many tastes and the loose leaf tea was a real treat. The negatives are not many, but the dray ommelette comes to mind. I wold love to have a firmer pillow or two for those who need them for medical purposes. The design of the building does not allow natural light in the elevators' skylight well, as well the wall cladding is a dark tone wood which makes it rather dark and "not happy" if I may use this term. I will definitely choose this hotel for my future business trips with ADNEC
"Management is really Terrible !!! Unkowlegable"
I have been in this hotel 5 years ago , it was a really beautiful hotel . Person who is managing now is never in the office and clearly is being paid for nothing . It was a terrible experience and would never recommend it to anyone .
"Very nice and with incredibly helpful staff!"
Stayed here on a stopover on a long flight from NZ to Europe. Fantastic experience. Had a very late check in and the girl at the desk extended my check out until the afternoon so that I can explore the city during the day and come back for a shower before continuing with my flights. Extremely friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, with everything you can imagine (especially the large bathtub was lovely! Had a nice breakfast too - wide range of choices and attentive staff as well. Great experience, would recommend!
Maybe the hotel is a little out of the way, but this did not actually bother me too much. The hotel is located on the upper part of a 'leaning' tower and the rooms therefore have great views. My room was spacious and well furnished and had everything a modern room needs. The restaurant was great, nice breakfast selection and some very attentive staff members. Overall, a good hotel for a short stay in Abu Dhabi
"Overnight with a twist."
Back again in Abu Dhabi like the Backstreet Boys famous hit single. As with the nature of business, last minute meetings and interviews can come as a surprise with little to no warning. It's at these times one hopes to find accomodation that can cater to urgent overnight requests to be prepared for a busy next day's meeting. The Hyatt Capital Gate assisted me as if my meeting was as important to them as it was to me. Arriving with limousine at the hotel in the late evening hours gave me a chance to admire the neon blue glow of the world famous curvaceous structural design and artistry of this establishment. Upon entry at the ground floor the staff were quick to greet me and take my bags while I perused the dimmed interior of this levels lobby. The decor was pleasant but the decoration of art was sparse. I took the elevator to the 18th floor which opened up to the main guest lobby. It was well designed with comfortable seating, cafe service staff and access to the '18' Lounge and restaurant. Check-in was quick, easy and the front desk staff were pleased to inform me all my previous requests had been met and prepared for my arrival. I briefly explained the importance of my upcoming meeting and requested my suit and dress shirt was pressed and ready within 3 hours, a special breakfast and reserved seating area was prepared for a VIP guest meeting me in the hotel lobby, and asked for recommended nearby stores so I could procure an appropriate tie and cufflinks. Within a few minutes all I had asked for was underway and a taxi waiting to take me to a reputable men's suit store. Fantastic service. This time I had an overnight stay in a King Deluxe Room on the 31st floor. The room was clean, modern and well designed with decor commensurate with the twisting structure of the building. Pottery, captivating paintings, and antique style statuettes were spaced flowingly around the room. The floor to ceiling windows overlooked the Abu Dhabi city-scape and the rooms amenities were numerous covering most travellers requirements. I particularly liked the complimentary shoe shine service. The glass walls of the bathroom allowed a view from the bed to the enormous stand alone bath while keeping the discreet privacy of the toilet and shower recess. The usual 3 bottle selection of body gel, shampoo and conditioner with a bar of soap was on offer for both the bath and shower. It was very clean and spacious. The next morning I met with my VIP guest and was escorted to the reserved area where a special selection of breakfast delicacies, coffees and attentive staff were awaiting anything else we may want to order. My guest was impressed and thankful for the hotels efforts in preparing all of this for us. The staff were always a signal away but kept a respective distance for our privacy. Lastly, my flight wasn't until late that evening and 'Jetash' at the front desk offered me bag storage, a private room to shower and prepare before my flight and even access to the pool or gym should I choose to use it although I had officially checked-out. Kindness is always appreciated. Once again amazing staff with great and considerate customer service. I highly recommend Hyatt Capital Gate to any weary business traveller who has last minute requests to ensure they are prepared for important meetings. I can only hope my next stay will allow me to remain longer and experience everything this wonderful hotel has to offer. Capt. Ali Abdu Al Salam
