"Still One of The Best In The World"
Make no mistake, the ICHK is one of the best hotels in the world and is not cheap. That said, for the price, it is probably the best value of any top class hotel anywhere. It's just everything about the place that makes it so wonderful. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, you are a valued guest and nothing is too big or too small for the staff to help you with. We had a horrible journey to HK and arrived at the hotel in a cab with a driver who suddenly decided that his card machine didn't work and who demanded cash and a fare that was 50% higher than what the meter read. Of course we had no cash. Literally, within seconds of my discussions with the driver, we had Barry from reception at the cab with a handful of cash and two bellhops as backup arguing over the fare. It was resolved swiftly and simply. Nothing needed to be said. Barry had us checked in and organised with calm efficiency and we were in our room looking out onto one of the best views of any hotel in the world. You can just sit on the bed and look through the panoramic window and watch the world go by on HK Harbour. Breakfast at the hotel is a journey around the world with a buffet that provides everything from Pizza to Curries to Grilled Salmon, to Fresh Juices and the best Muesli. The thing about the ICHK is that you know exactly what to expect and you are never disappointed. What more could you ask for'
"Small but Luxurious Hotel"
Intercontinental Hong Kong is a charming hotel. The food, bed and overall amenities is truly 5 star. The staff were also attentive and the room service was superb. The room size is smaller than most 5 star I have been to but the quality of service was superb.
" pampering harbour view room. "
the hotel staff were such friendly bunch, i was escorted to my fabulously arranged harbour view room by the front desk manager, greeted and treated to an gastronomic japanese lunch at Nobu by Ms Karen (the gracious host). Bosco was so kind to send me chocolates and sweet notes during my stay and we finally managed to meet before departure. Both Karen and Bosco were exceptionally helpful to advice on my navigation to HKCEC & a cafe which i was trying to locate from TripAdvisor's review. The hotel location was superb as I need to catch the 1st star ferry to attend a convention. there were plenty of food around the area and within vicinity to the subway. Strongly recommended!!!
"Fabulous stopover and if you're lucky for longer!"
So thoroughly enjoyed our two days in Hong Kong staying at the InterContinental Hotel, Hong Kong at Kowloon. If we could have stayed for longer it would have been marvellous. From the moment we walked into the hotel after a long flight from Europe, my husband and I felt we were in exceptional hands. Our welcome was very streamlined but personalised. Having decided to dine at their Cantonese Restaurant, Yan Toh Heen we knew we had made the right choice - perfect in every way. Beautiful view over the harbour to Hong Kong Island, lovely ambience, fabulous menu and very attentive and friendly service. In fact we dined there two night running. We are very sorry to be leaving as right from our check in, very comfortable room with a view and helpful staff, every need was looked after extremely efficiently and without any promoting. We will definitely return!
"Excellent Hotel Best Location"
We spent three nights at the Intercontinental in Kong Kong in April 2017. From check in to the room to the service to the amenities this hotel cannot be faulted. Exceptionally polite and respectful service. Our room was a Deluxe Harbour Facing room with a whole wall of glass overlooking the Harbour and the traffic on the water plus of course the nightly light show. Location-wise the hotel is five minutes from the ferry terminal, mall and a 20 minute walk to Temple Street Market (not to be missed).
