"A grade staff"
Ahmad at reception was friendly and efficient. We were delighted with an early checkin, a lovely room with a view of the sea and the lights of Palestine and the information given about the hotel. Azza served us in the bar during happy hour and again was friendly and helpful. We have really enjoyed our stay but would love to have had easier access to the waters of the Dead Sea....our reason for coming.
"A pampered stay at Dead Sea Marriott!"
• A great Resort at a great location! • Excellence beyond excellence to management and staff. • Service is quick and of great quality. • One of the best breakfast buffets I have experienced. • Food in IL Terrazzo and Champions Restaurants was delicious. • The WiFi was very good right through my stay. • Excellent Spa facilities and treatments. • Pools are crystal clear clean. • Every leisure facility you expect in a five star resort is there. • Clean, spacious room, complete with all conveniences, fresh linens and extremely comfortable bed and pillows. • My room came with direct pool access where I could jump to the pool from my room!

"Some good bit and some not so great bits..."
We stayed her for the last four days of our trip to Jordan. We stayed in the Marriott Amman and the Marriott Petra too so we had really high expectations as the other two were fantastic. The check in was all very confusing and we were bring served by a trainee who didn't really seem to understand their own procedures. The room itself was good, we had a balcony over look the pool, however we didn't use it as it was covered in bird poo. Also one thing to note the rooms don't have a full on air conditioning unit it more of a fan built into the wall so the rooms can stay pretty warm in the evenings so if you like a crisp cool room at night like me this might not be the hotel for you. The grounds and facilities themselves are great, three pool - all very clean, good gym and a selection of restaurant (however only the buffet and the italian were open because of Ramadan which is fine however we weren't informed when booking, prior to arrival or on check in, we found out when we turn up and ones was shut). We only went to the buffet restaurant for breakfast which was great but I didn't fancy evening dinner there as it was very large and noisy. We spent our evening in the italian restaurant which was good and the staff were great but it is quite expensive for what it is, nearly £100 for two pizzas and a bottle of wine... I would recommend happy hour on the balcony, cocktails and drinks during that time are reasonable. However the main attraction is the dead sea. You can get a golf cart down there, or walk its not far. There is a private bit of beach, they supply beach shoes and mud to cover yourself in and towels which was great. If I was going back I would try another hotel, but its okay.
"True 5 Stars"
The Jordan Valley Marriott was the final of three Marriott's we stayed as part of our tour of Jordan. It was by far the best. Had I known what luxury we were going to experience I would have booked extra nights and delayed our return to the States. It was that magnificent. The location on the Dead Sea, the private beach, spa, pools, and above/beyond service make this a special place. We are already planning our next trip to the middle east and including the Jordan Valley in our itinerary. This time for multiple days.
